Hey I am A bothan TKA/Smuggler/Pistoleer (Triple Threat). I need some help to see what would be the best HAM/stats to have for my guy... I am also Pistoleer so take that into account. Thanks for your help!

I'm also a smuggler/tk bothan. I just got powerboost too, and I'm also a novice medic. Our health secondaries stink, so I look for low encumberance armor with some kinetic resist. Currently I'm using a mix of ubese and voritor bone armor. I don't PvP and generally only use brandy. I don't grind either. So that's some background as to how I do things and this is how I set up my stats.

Max out willpower-this reduces the time I wait after feign death. Once the mind comes back I can pop a stim and go again.

Most people max out mind. I put mine at 1000. I decided I'd rather have the last 100 points elsewere rather than squeeze out another 50 in powerboost. Judgement call. Anyway that will add 500 to health and action for ten minutes at a time while usng powerboost. Then, max out strength, us poor bothans get hit hard on this one. I put more into health than action because our strength maxes below our quickness minimum. You may have to try it and decide if you're more likely to run yourself out of action using specials, or have the mobs hitting you more for health. Don't neglect focus if you use stims like I do. I didn't worry about action secondaries because these are naturally high, and I didn't worry about constitution because I use stims rather than wait for regeneration.

Some people like to rely on buffs and armor and will tell you to put everything into mind and secondaries. It really depends on your playstyle.

This is the setup I chose, but since I just gotPB yesterday I'll have to play with it to see how well it works.

The HAM problem is why not many people pick Bothan's as their speice. Its a real sad state of affairs cause I adore bothan's. They are cute, furry and cuddleable.

We should have a protest outside theed about increasing the HAM forBothan. Also another speice that doesn't do well in the HAM area is Rodian.

My HAM is set much like Yosho's. I just have to go looking for low-encumbrance armor when I'm wearing it, tho with buffs of course, I don't have many problems.

As a side note, let's hope they re-do all the species HAM. As it stands now, a knowledgable player will choose human 90% of the time if any combat is involved just because of the wide range of it's HAM (of course I still went with a Bothan Smuggler/tka/pistoleer just because I always seem to swim against the flow).

im a bothan doc / tkm and what i did was max mind and all substats so my Health and action are low but everything else is maxed, then simply powerboost to have action/ health both at 1k and mind over 1.5k. works well, with buffs its even better :-p
