Is it a good idea to have TKM and Master Fencer for the defence? but still use TKM for the speed and damage?

I think it is because tk does more damage overall faster. The reason fencer is good to have is the huge HUGE amount of defence that tree adds. Sure it isnt the special defences like toughness and all that bug the large amount of melee defence alone is worth it not to mention the defence vs stun and all that.
