I've been trying a few combos attempting to get a feel for what things matter. One question I can't get a grip on - I'm debating a wookie TKA, but I don't know how much the lack of Trandoshan benefits will hurt. Wookies get better stats (of course), and less armor (and I can't tell if armor helps or hurts TKA anyway). The only concern would be lesser damage / speed / accuracy / defense (for example, it seems as a brand newbie, a Wookie brawler got hit much harder than aTran brawler).

Does anyone have a feel for this combination and whether it's basically just a gameplay choice? I'd choose wookie so that I can stop killing myself using special moves (darned Tran action is so low!), but if that means I would experience much less effectiveness as a wookie because net effect is too reduced, it would be nice not to have to spend a week experimenting to tell.

My friend is a Wookiee unarmed Brawler and he does just fine. If you find your stats are lacking in some ares try playing with stat migration till your happy.....yes I know migration is slow but at least you wont have to keep recreating yourself.

In beta we had TKA master duels, the Trandos always beat the Wookiees when they wore armour. It was basically an even match without armour.

I play a Wook TKA and I have no problems. I've taken on some decent PVE opponents (a cave full of em) unbuffed and unarmored and come out victorious (thanks to meditation between melees). A good buff and my armor on and I mow down Jantas and Mokks, and I'm not close to Master yet. Once you hit the 2nd box in the power column you really start dishing out the damage. So go for it and have fun!
