Just wondering.. as I am just starting the TKA tree, and I keep looking at the precision line... the combat exp line... and wonding if I only got around 40k combat exp for going from novice brawler to TKA Novice (with expert polearm thrown in)... now I have TK0/0/1/0 and just over 50K of the 60k required... how in Gods green earth did TKM's earn all that combat exp???

I have never spent a skill point based on combat exp... and have yet to earn 60k since the begining of my char...

combat xp is 10% of the xp you get for killing the mob. look at the requirements for the skills of TKA. 175k, 250k, 350k, 450k. thats 122500 combat xp per skill tree. I have all of tka done except the meditate tree and just have 1 block left on the precision. Thats ever spending like 30k combat xp on the ranged support line. By the time you master in meditate, balance, and power, you will either have enough xp for master precision or be very close.

The best bet with combat xp is to just ignore it and let ift accrue.

Basically you have to remember that for every 10 points of unarmed xp you make you gain roughly 1 point of combat xp (~10%). The whole TKA tree requires 3,675,000 unarmed xp meaning that along the way you'll be granted 367,500 combat xp.

The precision line requires 415,000 combat xp meaning that you only have to find 47,000 over and above what you're going to get anyway.

Yeah, it's daunting at first but if you just ignore it and let it trickle in it does build up.

I just converted my faction points at the recruiter into combat EXP.
