</kowtow> Greetings my brothers of the Steel hands, I recently began my endevours into the realm of soloing janta/mokk shaman.

I looted a knife and some hides, and i've heard of this janta blood (i want to be a doctor.) In the POIs section of the datapad, there is a WP for the 'Janta Stronghold.' I was wondering if this was another place that was good for EXP and Looting. Could these villiages be soloed? Do any of you have experiences to share in visiting this place? Are there any janta stronger than hunters/scouts/harvesters/shaman/etc.? Is it more rewarding to go to the Dantari, Kinga, or Mokk villiages? I may want to check this place out over the weekend, and would like some info first.

*Note* I am on intrepid, and a 2-3-4-3 TKA Master medic if these tip the scales at all *Note*

I appreciate the wisdom of you masters, and thank you again for your help.

Cant say I've actually been there. My favorite place to grind during daytime hours when the servers kinda empty is Fort Tusken. With 5 or 6 people there its good xp, after that the place becomes saturated and pointless. But still more entertaining than grinding it out on missions.

Sorry I couldnt help with the Janta aspect of this question.

Forgot to mention one last thing about Fort Tusken.

If you see...

A Tusken Observer
A Tusken Witchdoctor
***A Tusken Executioner***

In the immortal words of Monty Python...

"Run away!"

These guys are tough, take a good group to take down. I can solo anything there without armor np, but when I see numbers above my head saying -1200, I know somebodys around that doesnt like me.

I received a buff and did the stronghold once. Very nice XP, but no loot, for me anyway. Tough, but not impossible, except for one near the entrance of the cave with 100% kinetic resists. I left him alone. The rest are doable.

if u got good armour i recommend with the 100%kinectic bloke is use a janta knife on him which deals mind poison it will take you about 10-15 mins to kill him but normally the loots are worth it

Yes, the big guys spawn there still, just not very often. I finished TK there about 3 weeks ago and saw 3 of the mighty ones.1 Observer Incapped me with 1 shot while I was on my swoop headed to the fort.

I'm not sure if the Tusken Observers, or Executioners spawn at the Fort, but i ran across an Observer for the first time near the squill cave on Tat not long ago. In my ignorance, and feeling of security (i was buffed) i proceeded to engage him and then proceeded to be killed very very quickly by him. Lying on my back, cursing the fact i lost my buffs so quickly, i made an oath to come back and kick hiss a$$.

Wonder how much xp they give if they can be solo'd?

OH yes they spawn there. There very nasty as well. Wish I had a pick to prove it but there were about 3 people at Tusken one day and I was up top and ran across a Tusken Executioner and Witch Doctor at the same time. That had to be the fastest I've ever died. Took about...4 seconds, buffed with no armor (usually dont need armor at Fort Tusken)

I literaly ran into a Tusken Observer in the middle of nowhere (around0,0 on Tat)while riding my speeder bike. One second red dots showed on the radar. Next second I was on my back, incaped, looking at the sky. One of the pitfalls of going joy riding and forgeting to put on armor. Combat log showed he was the one who knocked me on my ass. Only good thing out of that experience was that all them Tuskins must have been afraid of the Observer, cause he never came over to DB me and none of them did either. I got up after the incap timer, did a quick heal and took off like mybutt was on fire.

I soloed the Janta stronghold just the other night. I didn't have any real trouble, but i also have a razor cat pet....and he tends to take a lot of hits. So, literally speaking, I didn't really solo it.

Only thing is, there doesn't seem to be much profit in it. Loot drops are scarce and even when you do get one it seems like it's always a spearpoint or a staff.

This is kinda a peeve of mine. I've killed probably a thousand Janta's and have never gotten blood...one time i got hide, and some people seem to get blood all the time, so maybe in that respect i'm just unlucky.
