Thread: Has Combat Equilibrium killed you lately?

SincegettingTK novice along time ago, I've noticed that sometimes in a fight I'll get incapped and immediately stand back up, sometimes so fast that if I wasn't currently looking at the chat window I would have missed it. I've always beentold that this was Combat Equilibrium doing it's thing. Which is all fine and good, but if you are fighting say a non DB'ing creature like savage quenkers or doing a best out of 3 duel with a friend thiscan get you killed. Unlike Force of Willwhich willbring you out of incap with atleast some of your HAM restored, Combat Equilibrium just stands you back up at the brink of incap or death depending on what incap you are on.
Is this how Combat Equilibrium was designed to work or should it just bring you up if you've been forced into a posture change? It would be nice if it was a little more like FOW with the HAM restored and all, but that would just be like the game auto-typed /force for you.

Combat Equilibrium makes you stand back when you are knocked down, not incap.I never experienced what you described.

It happens to me all the time, so quickly I dont even have time to hit force of will, I thought it was a bug. As for combat equiluilbrium helping when knocked down, Im getting the impression it doesnt work, When I get KD, It takes forever to get back up.

What you guys are experiencing is normal, and is not Combat Equilibrium. How the incap timer works depends on how much damage below 0 you take, so if someone attacks you and it puts you at -1 health or something you will regen that so fast that it seems like combat equilibrium took effect, but it didn't
