Thread: Solo What?

I am trying to find out what sort of things I can solo as a Master TKA. With doctor buffs, brandy and a cheap ubese jacket and pants I can very easily handle a gang of rancors on me, even when they land an intimidate. Now, rancors are of course far from the hardest thing in the game to fight, so I am thinking of something else. What about a kryat dragon, has anyone been able to solo one of these as a Master TKA and if so, what comments would you have about difficulty, tactics, hints, etc.


If not a Kryat, what about a Nightsister Elder? Or anything else that would be a challenge.


For informational purposes, I'm a Master Rifleman, Master TKA, Pistoleer 0/0/4/1, Novice Fencer. So no healing ability but pretty good defense.

Try to solo some dark jedi knights, there round 125k HAM and 90% resists to all with heavy rmor, dont know if you could take it or not u can get a mission for one after a few precursor missions at the imperial prison,on dath.Youll know ur getting the right missions when your hunting down escaped prisoners for some high ranking imperial guard. Or you could try a crystal hunter, there a little easier, forgot what their exact stats were but they had around 80% resists to all and heavy armor but a little less HAM they're found in the force crystal cave on Dant. I've heard of some people soloing the Death Watch NPC's on Yavin and Endor, but im not sure if they had other professions like doctor, or combat medic to help out those guys are VERY tough, as from what i hear they are both a master rifleman and TKM (the Death Watch Ghosts). GL and have fun.

lemme help u with what to solo....at first of my tka life i hardly solo'd **edit**....to scared to die, then pvp alot died, didn't care , then i actually started killing people in pvp i was like OMGOMGOMGHAXLOLOL then i went to the tusken fort and started intimidating an observer, put a nice flame dot in him, started punching, other people joined in, killed him, took another one, and a with doc, then i went nightsister outpost, killed the queen with 1 friend's help, soloing krayts no biggy, my master BH friend solo'd the nightsister queen for 2mins and lost most his health, **edit** defense seeing we both have the same armor (i buy them in big packs of say 20sets so we have enough for a while seeing we tend to break it fast...) anyway u can solo it all if u think u can! just go for it, u die, well too bad, bring a friend try again

NS queen? **edit** are u smoking you lying sack of **edit**, first off there is no NS queen so your obviously lying, dont listen to this dumb **edit**, 2nd off if your gonna lke learn waht u are talking about and last time i went to NS stronghold and NS force labor camp was lastweekend, avxka (sp?) and the elder at the force labor camp both are 100% kinetic, doubt u can solo that without other **edit** unless u got a DOT vk which are very rare and theyd u be sitting there waiting whole time,


original poster, what do u have with tk? then ican tell u what u should be able to solo

At tkm you can easlily solo a juvy krayt. I suggest you wear a full suit of good base composit armor and stack up with lots of food and drink. There is no way in *edit* you could solo a canyon. Im pretty sure after about the first hour of unarmedhit 3attacking it and only droping maybee 30k of its 350k ham you would get oftely bored. (trust me i have tried) But yeah juvys are pretty easy maybee take 10 mins or so not to long and they drop the best loot

well donny if u where on kettemoor server i would show u how to do it easy, avxka = queen so hows the dumb @ss now? when i went in i killed everything in the cave then went down to the protector with avxka to the right of her and a rancor with a name (cant remember) to the backleft of her, i attacked the protector and they all came, then another 10 or so protectors spawned, this is how u kill them: u intimidated avxkathen take out everything around her with area attacks, didn't take so long for me seeing i was using a 145dmg knuckler, then i dropped that knuck and went unarmed, then i grabbed my flamethrower and put this in my battle qeue all the time: flamesingle2/intimidate/flamesingle2/intimidate

only healed myself 3 times max,


next time u try to have a go at someone think of what other professions they could have mastered before u talk cr@ p, btw my template gives me a nice flame dot, melee defense and 2.3k heals so well u got owned m8

where do you find juvy krayts? and what loot do they drop? thinking of trying one.. Am Commando 0040 ( Flame IV ) - TKM - Medic 0040, so I can heal aswell

Some great ideas from everyone, thanks.


With TKA I have Master Rifleman, Pistoleer 0/0/4/1 and Novice Fencer. I am lacking any ability to heal myself, which is a bummer but I have hit the cap on both melee and ranged defense and with pistoleer on there get some nice defense vs stuff. I love TKA and it is my favorite PvE and PvP profession. Rifleman is cool but against most PvE stuff, that runs up to you, I either have to run away from it while shooting or put up with it right next to me.I have a good suit of 74% kinetic ubese and a suit of 80% kinetic composite. I prefer to use the ubese whenever possible because it is cheaper and has less encumbrance so my secondaries are higher, which has obvious benefits.


I do the typical solo hunting group missions which can be fun and make me a lot of money but aren't much of a challenge. I want to solo something that is more of an accomplishment.

Juvy krayts are found along with their "momma", Canyon Krayt Dragons. The spawn will have a juvy and a canyon. Once the juvy dies, another spawns to replace it in about 2-3 minutes. There's like 3-4 that spawn, then you're left with momma.
