Do all the resists we get as TKAs work when you're holding like a pistol or something other than Unarmed? I mean the ranged, melee, defenses against blind, knockdown and the other little defenses we get.

And also. . Do they stack with resists from other professions? Like Pistoleer?

yes all resists stack from every profession. Toughness is the only thing that is specifc for the weapon designed for it.
