I know this has been posted before, but I was unable to locatea post, so I will ask again:

What do you consider is the best way to work up the TKA tree ? Which lines should be taken first and why?

I found going up the power line was definately the best thing to do first. The +15 speed and damage at each level will help you out enourmously. This allows you to hit harder and faster, allowing you to get more xp per kill if you are in a group. After that most suggest balance, and that is definately a good way to go. yeah pretty much did the same thing as valkari, and now that powerboost is fixed i recommend the meditation line even more than before
