Has anyone else had the displeasure to chase an aged lantern bird with only 18 points left in HAM half way across endor. Can't kill the thing for beans even with a pet chasing it cause it flies at the speed of light.

Taunt is a joke, but it helps with this sometimes.

my personal favorite is Drodikas.

you run up to attack, and they just peel off running. Those little bastards wont ever stay at melee range...ever, and they run faster then me /cry

i have to burst run, spaming KD2 50s times tell one sticks.

use lunge1/2 ---- even without the posture change or kd you can hit for 500ish - i use it in pvp with kiters as i try to catch them.

I use Taunt pretty effectively to stop a fleeing monster. Just spam it 2 or 3 times and it'll stop the monster in its tracks. Saves you alot of time.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll try to remember taunt and lunge.

Souped up CDEF (if you can spare the skill points, get health shot I and a better blaster... if they bleed you can let them run all the way, and the bug that lets bleed ignore resistances and armor has not yet been fixed). Unarmed Lunge 1 works as well, but is a bit more iffy due to range, and critter speed.
