You don't get any wound any longer in mind.

You start meditate - use powerboost. Your mind drops temporarily to 50%. Then all the 3 stats start rising up and in less than a minute they reach their final buffed values (which is about 150% of the starting values).

After about 10 minutes they start slowly dropping down to the original values.

I have normally about 950 950 880 ham, when i use powerboost after less than a minute i go up to 1430 1430 1320.

Love it!

They amount added is dependant on your mind power. If you have 1000 mind points all your primary stats get a 500 point buff. If you had 800 mind they'd get a 400 point. 700, 350. and so on.

Remember that once the focus fades you will lose that boost, and having low HAM at that point will cause an incapatitation.

I read this post thinking it had something to do with my own experiences with powerboost and will power. Sadly it doesn't. Since I cannot see starting a new thread with the same subject, hopefully you will not consider this post a hijack of this thread.

I have found that the changes to powerboost are now requiring me to have an exceedingly high willpower. Fortunately as zabrak I already do, but I still think I need to migrate more into it. The issue is that when you are trying to heal up an extra 500 mind damage, it takes a very long time. I am considering migrating my stats to be more like this:

health 1000/300/300

action 1000/300/300

mind 1000/300/900

This should shorten the downtime I have waiting for powerboost to reach its max. I realize there are willpower enhancing foods and drinks out there, but I already use foods (up until this patch anway) to enhance other things. What might be a really good food for us TKAs is a short duration, non-filling, high powered willpower food. Then we could powerboost, wait for the big mind boost, and then take this food to rapidly reach our max stats.

Any thoughts on this, how have you all dealt with this issue?

i did sort of what you plan to do and is working fine for me .. (Zabrak too)

1000/300/300 for both action and health

then .. i don't remember exact values but about 850 mind, and near all the rest in willpower and a bit of focus

to answer the buffing question..yes

Eat food, drink and take spice will add to mind pool

Power boost and your buffs increase by the current pool you have, but when it wears off with current bugs you could see and incapp come on quickly.
