Does this mod work no matter what prof. you use?

I've had the presicion striking tree for awhile to help with my swordsman lack of defense before they put in the defesive acuity mod.

From my experience i seem to never get hit, when i check my combat log to see if i counter attacked(swordsman mod) it says that the target just missed, not counter attack. i did a test yesterday and stood in the middle of 5 savage humbaba's on talus and just hit peace and watched the combat log. The target missed me 9 times in a row, then got hit, then i counterattacked, then proceeded to be missed 6 more times.

Same thing happens when i use my 1h sword, i have novice fencer- 0/0/0/0 and can solo the tusken bunker because nothing will hit me, it's all miss or an occasional dodge.

Just curious if anyone has info on this, trying to make sure it's not just luck. Thx in advance

the missing is melee deffense. deffensive acuity for teras kasi is a combination of dodge, block, and counter. but if you are holding a powerhamer, and see a '(name) hits you for 200 dmg, but you block it!' then... BUG! cause they arent suposed to cross into different trees.
