since the patch yesterday ive noticed that i am taking WAY more dmg than i used to, im getting ripped up by White con mobs in like 3 hits..... i know that it didnt use to be this way, anyone else having this problem?

Ive been taking alot less damage in pve, now in PVP im gettin SHREDDED by ranged users. Some Pistoleer 2 shot me with stopping shot today (wasnt even a master) 1st shot was for 780 second was for 650... I never went down that fast prior to this patch in pvp .. I guess its almost forcing melee into going ranged for ranged mitigation.

Yup getting hit before like crazy from ranged attacks. Hey Mr Heavy could you check and see if our ranged defense got nerfed?

they thought everyone would be a blaster-carrier and have big firefights....

Yea maybe.But I still hate those ranged cowards. They do nothing but hide behind there guns.I mean come on at least we fight man to man.

vika he was probably using a nice gun. i could shoot for around 1k dmg when i wasnt even near master.

Go out, Hit a Mob and watch your combat spam. I got incapped in two hits by high end plasma thieves on Naboo But the combat spam only showed 1 hit point of damage. But my ham bars went to Zero in nothing flat, and worse I was completely healthy when I went out to that area. 800 hams accross the board

Anyone else seen those results?

Part of what is happening is that humaniod NPC's are using ALOT more specials. This increases their accuracy bonus, offsetting more of TK ranged defense. This causes more hits, and more damage from those hits.

This was part of the creature balance that was included in the publish.

Now that you mention the specials...............I took some missions to wipe out some rebel scum. Turns out some of the scum were using T21s and advanced strafe on me. I got hit for 600-800 in some shots. Note they were all blue-white con to me. The only other NPCs that did so much damage before were nightsisters. Got hit for 6k by them once. Guess I better wear armor. Ack wait T21s are heavy armor piercing! Guess will have to use gurrecks.

It was a Rebel Blaster not sure on the stats just pissed me off that he downed me so fast.. he didnt even mix it up Stopping Shot. Stopping Shot... I guess thats the new spam style instead of eyeshot..

All the tuskens at Fort Tusken are master fencers O_o
