Thread: TKA & Swordsman Question's

Before the great hosing "CU" I was a tkm & m doc, but I respec'd to pistoleer swordsman which is ok but with my main alt being a m rifle & m bh with cm 3xxx I need a better tank so I decided to drop pistol and get tkm back.


What is the best way to start the attack and do enough damage to hurt it and keep the agro while ranged hit the target from a safer distance, Also what kind of foods and drinks work the best


Any help is appreciated

I usually hit it with a KD first then taunt. When the Rifleman do too much damage and it agro's to them I lay a heal on myself or a teamate and it usually turns the agro back to me. With the Heal agro the way it is, this is usually a great trick. I never use food or drink unless PvPing or going up against Uber NPC.

AB/KD/crit/head/taunt and you will keep aggro

thanks for the info, I have a few morequestions I need some advice on


Sence swordsman uses armor and tkm does not Should I go without armor?


And once i get master tk would it be best to use my 1k damage sword with tk attacks or just use the tk for the inate armor


Last question


Does BE enhanced melee / ranged defense clothing actually help.

just use tk innate since its really good armor and doesnt decay


1k damage ph... thats an ok one, what are the stats?


only tk special i use is improved sweep attack.


BE melee/ranged def clothing is OK at most, sincewith improved cob your defense is 700+. i personally use the healing effic and unarmed dam/terrain neg mods. i dont really that that +16-25 matters

I cant remember the name or stats right off hand but it was a quest reward for either the kertumba village or the outcast's


Blade of orsis or something like that


For BE clothes I have pants and jacket that gives me +16 melee and ranged defense "Each" and a shirt & bandoleir that give me +18 healing "Each"

+skill from BE clothing is capped out at +25 per stat, so I'd pawn one of the + defense clothes off and buy something with +unarmed and +terrain negotiation. The +unarmed damage won't do anything, but the +terrain negotiation is nice to have. For instance, I use Terrain Neg / Unarmed shirt, +18 Healing pants, and +defense jacket. I just use a normal backpack for now since I need the space (smuggler) but I have been thinking about getting one of those spec ops packs with the minor defense mods on it. My jacket is also kind of weak on the melee defense (+4 melee, +16 ranged) but it was the only one of that style that I could find all black. It will do for now until I can get a better one made.

You're talking about the Blade of the Ny'enthoris.


I am master fencer, and although I don't remember the exact stats... something like 940 max damage


my modified dps is 543 when it is equipped.


One note, equipping the Blade of the Ny'enthoris will cause your character to use TK animations...(nothing major, but I thought you should know :smileytongue

Yes, I'm sure. It's not one of the old bio clothes, as I have some of them stashed away too. It'sa Desert Command Jacket (only all black bio desert command jacket I could find, looks better than the reinforced jacket to me)... Ihaven't seen any of those yet with even melee / ranged defenses yet. Don't know why... maybe that style limits the mods, but I'd have to ask a tailor to be sure.
