Thread: Quickest way to grind???

Just came back to game and was wondering with the CU what is the fastest way to grind through melee? My character cant ware any decent armor and i get crap for XP from what i am able to kill

I'm fairly new to the game but the best place I've found to grind is Dantoine at the Mining Outpost. You can go there and hopefully get in a good group with at least two CL80's and pick up some serious weapons and combat xp. More if you get your inspiration buff at the local cantina. I go there all the time and always get enough xp to fill skill boxes. I'll be there on Monday night after midnight E.D.T. to finish Master Swordsman. With a good group, it should only take about an hour to get the million points of 2-handed weapons xp that I need. If you happen to group with a few Jedi who are grinding lightsaber xp, it'll probably take half the time. I was in one group with three or four CL80 Jedi who attacked the lair. I stood nearby and spammed tab and melee hit for every mob. The xp gains were fantastic.

Bols and Pikets on Dantooine are boring although suitable for grinding 
Most of the hunting groups hunt only these.
If you wanna enjoy fights and not just grind, take any other planet and missions there. Dathomir or Yavin can be also fun places to go.

It generally goes something like this now: solo lowCL static spawnsto fill out your prerequisites in the basic skills (in combat level terms this generally translates to about CL10), then group and grind missions through all of your elite professions. You can solo to full template, of course, but it's slow and often dangerous work, especially with TKA, because we really have no decent weapons until CL54/TKM.
