...yes it's another one of those threads. Just proud that this is my first combat profession that I've mastered since I started playing at launch

I really enjoy Teras Kasi, and I can't wait to see what new things await the profession in the combat revamp that's coming up!

Greetings TKA's

I had recently decided to change my template around and spent the past few nights grinding and obtaining TKM. Previously my mainstay profession was Master Bounty Hunter, it had been such since 2003. I have gone through several supplemental professions to compliment it and got hooked on Commando. I had decided I wanted to keep Commando and change my primary profession to one I hadnt experienced yet. I have always wanted to go with TK at some point so I decided to drop BH all together and replace it with TKM.

Now my template is TKM / Master Commando / Combat Prowess Master / 4400 Enhanced Reflexes / 3000 scout.

I know between TK and Commando I will be lacking the number of special attacks I am used to having from BH and I could probably come up with a different combo if I wanted to have some uber leet setup but thats not my objective. I want to be able to fight toe to toe and have the ranged skills for runners and kiters. The FS skills offer me the melee and ranged accuracy / speed as well as defenses to compliment both TK and Commando. Of course the scout skills give me terrain negotiation which is always handy.

TK will be my primary profession, tanking mobs and holding aggro while the group attacks. I know TK is the avoidance profession and not classified as a heavy damage dealer on its own, while there may be higher damage output setups I am satisfied with the damage I have seen thus far. Commando offers me the weapons to inflict some damage, various states and AoEs from a ranged perspective. For instance, if I am being kited I would whip out my rocket launcher or grenades and knock down my target so I could get in close and start pummeling them with melee. The aggro possibilies from grenades alone, not to mention the AoE weapons, coupled with taunt can help ensure the aggro isnt going to the docs or lighter armored personell. There are alot of possibilities.

Is anyone still using the TK/Commando combo these days? I am curious to what additional skills might be used with them in other setups and what kind of experiences they yield. I know thus far I am very happy with my new setup.

Welcome to TK, and welcome to these forums.

You may want to check the template thread just below this one for different ideals.

Thank you.

I read through the template thread and got a good feel for the progression since the CU with various professions. Now I am scanning the threads here and on the weaponsmith forum for weaponry info. I am still using my bare knuckles, from what I have read thus far it looks like the claws are the way to go. Any other weapons worth while at TKM or for the CL54+ tier?
