Thread: Typical TKA ruining the game

I went out to face the Tusken king late last night with a friend who's almost master pistoleer. We're both master medic, had good food and spice. We spent a nice hour figthing through all the warriors, snipers, guards, and such. We got incapped several times and dead a couple, but that's part of the fun.
Finally we got to the king. 27k HAM, medium armor, medium resists -- one tough cookie. We engaged him using hit-run-tactics, dodging around walls and just having a kick ass firefight. When he was about a third dead, the warriors and guards started to re-spawn. No problem, we say, we'll draw him out and then finish them off. As we take a moment to allow our minds to recoup, some jerks, aTKAand a commando(unbuffed), come running in and proceed tokill all the warriors and guards, and then attack the king. The commando got killed, but the TKA was fine.
It took us an hour and loads of stims, spices, food, and patience for two high level pistoleers to accomplish what these guys did in five minutes.
And you think you're balanced?

I have on several several several occasions had the same thing happen to me at most spots, only it wasn't TKA's running in and taking a hard earned kill, it was other professions. It's not the profession it's the person.
Try a quick /t ! I have had pretty good luck with this and most people not only back off your kill but throw a heal your way

Are you saying he kill stealed?If so,anybody will do that,not just a TKA,and besides,thats the only way a novice TK can take a king unbuffed.

The only way he can take it is from KSing it from someone who already brought it down to about 0 HAM,because I remember being a TK novice,I couldnt even take a chief without feigning every so once in awhile.

Okay, first of all, tusken fort usually has about 25+ people there, so theres OBVIOUSLY gonna be kill stealing..
So you are pretty much saying that just because someone who happened to be a tka (even though he could have had some fencer or swordsman in him) came and finished off the kill, that all tkas are like that? I think not... And it's hard to believe that you and a couple other people took an hour to kill a 27khamtusken, even when they are master pistoleers, and no one come by and steal the kill. It would happen in 5 seconds on Shadowfire. I have also seen pistoleers hit for 2000-2500 damage with stopping shot and/or fanshot (which is a cone shot).
And almost every true TKA on these boards will NOT say that the professions are balanced. They are far from balanced, just read some of the past posts on here. We are merely a working profession. Once again, I'll say this. Do a little more research before you post..

Er...pistoleers with Fan Shot at the entrance of the Geo caves, and the side room near the merc room are making my experience sooo much fun.
Geo spawn..Pistol and Rifle fire all around...TKA proceeds to move...TKA reaches Geo...Geo keels over...

I can fight a kunga rockshaper for an hour and not kill it. A pistoleer can take it out in seconds using health shot 2... Think you're balanced?
Seriously though... This game's combat system is broken. Not every combat profession works and not every combat profession is equal in power. Look at rifle compared to most other combat professions.. highest dps in the game with great defenses and range. Obviously there are major combat balance problems right now.

This is just another sad troll... I've been outdamage before many many times.... I didnt come in the forums and cry cause someone out did me. Yeah this games has some fixes and some balances to be made... but even then every class is not going to do the same amout of damage and the extact same weapons... every class is not going to have the same amout of defenses in the same place.... If I remember correct... a pistoleer doesnt have a great rangeddefense but higher melee defense... so even with dodge if those tusken where shooting at you, their are other profressions that would live longer then you and thats without them stacking there defenses.

and besides.... everyone knows pistolers are weakest class around =) sry to disapoint u guys, but I was a Master pistoler and belive me, even with uber krayt pistol they lose to almost evryone

Grrr...Mst Pistoleers lose to everyone !!! being an ex TKM myself now Mst Pistoleer I'll dual any TKM here (pure TKM here that is) from 30m we start I'll wear 81% Kinetic who wants a go come on come on 
and I also have +92 pistol spd and an evil geo and DX2 so bringit on kinetic Boyz

Your bitching about a whole profession because you knocked a Tusken down to a third of its life, some guy comes in and finishes it off on you? Hell, this ass didn't even have to be a TKM to do what he did. The ass could have been another Master Pistoleer or a friggen Master Rifleman or a CM.
Christ on a Crutch dude! You could have at least been a little bit more inventive in your **edit** fest and told us the TKM had come in one minute after you started and took your kill.
Get your sorry ass out of this forum until you got something better to **edit** about. I don't think I am overpowered but I do think your an idiot.
