Can anyone point me to a website or FAQ that has information on TK's that comes from the books? I'm writing a story about my character and have some questions about 'what a TK is' exactly... IE is it just a martial arts form, a religious type group.... ect... Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Okay who's the pathetic loser with no life that would one star a post like this? I swear SWG attracts some of the most moronic people alive today.

stars don't mean anything you retard so there's no need to get pissed off cause somebody gave you one star.

As for your question, the only information in the novels is that Teras Kasi is only a martial art.

Well like he said Shadows has a short mention of it(PIke sisters)

it is also mentioned in Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter

Darth Maul knows some Teras Kasi

the Jedi Anoon Bondara it is said that he knows a little(never actually states this just says by his fighting style reminds Maul of some of the defensive styles of Teras Kasi)

It has a mention in Agents of Chaos 2(I haven't read it but I read somewhere on the boards here)

Well thats about it

I think

Oelos Takushi: smuggler proud member of Oi and Smugglers alliance pilot..

Elalia Takushi: Dancer and rebel pilot and member of Oi
bring back TEras Kasi and the melee profs as expertise skills.. bring some fun and real diversification to SWG

Thanks for the info folks... seems like Teras Kasi doesn't have a lot written about it

Actually, if someone has there thread sorted by rating they don't see one star posts, also its an asinine childish form of griefing... kinda like some asshat calling me a retard. So why don't you do us all a favor and eat the barrel of your favorite carbine?

The only two canon sources is the Shadows of the Empire source book and the storyline and biography for Arden Lyn in Masters of Teras Kasi for the PSX. Fact is that the art form and history isn't very well developed except to say it's as old as the Jedi Order and provides mastery over the body by tapping into a persons inner Force. The order was also founded to act as custodians over Jedi because they felt that the Jedi were unable to police themselves adequetly. As we know after the Great Scizm the Sith Lords were created which kind of proved the point the Followers of Palawan were making when they formed the order.

greetings,

all I was able to find (since I am at work at the moment) is http://www1.theforce.net/cuswe/search.asp?search=Teras+Kasi

not sure if this helps at all since it is a tinny little blurb but it is a place to start

Its part of the biography for Arden Lyn like I said, the basic run through is that during the time of the Great Scizm a group of students of TK were expelled from the order and joined with the dark jedi against the Jedi during the final years of the battle between the Light and the Dark. She married one of the dark jedi who was killed however she herself was put into a state of hibernation using a special technique that the Jedi can learn (as i recall it's one of the only teachings which touches on aspects of the dark side, Yaddle I think knows this technique as well) The details of how the Teras Kasi was formed is mentioned in the Shadows of the Empire source book, it mentions the great war and briefly covers what the order was set up to do, it's gone into more detail with Arden Lyns backstory and the events of Master of Teras Kasi.

Hmm.... I have to say that the background of a beat em up game that pits iconic charcters against each other is not exactly something I would base any faith upon. I am not sure if one can even consider that part of the EU. I might check out how shadow of the empire mentions Teras Kasi. The Pike sisters, however, were mercenaries iirc, not members of an order, and not jedi watchers.

TKA's are not watchers of the JEdi or Jedi hunters and they are not Force sensitve

I thought this was solved months ago *sigh*

even though a video game could be somehwat EU(cause Lucas arts has to clear it)

But I think the mentions in Shadows and The Maul book are more accurate of a discription of TKA and the art

Video games are not cannon. They are the lowest form of evidence for Star Wars.
