I am currently Master TKA and will be Master Swordsman in a day or so. I have been grinding but have found that I truly enjoy the Melee professions. I was planning on keeping TKA for a long time, but I have found that I really like Swordsman. So the question is, in order to keep grinding a few professions before Publish 10 I have to drop one of them. Any advice on what to keep? I don't do any PvP, mostly PvE.

Thanks!

Tough choice... The advantage to Swordsman is an alternate damage type.

Thanks to Vasarian Brandy I am now the town drunk and ONLY go to the AA meetings to brag about the killing spree done during my drunken rage.

I love TKM, I can take protectors with no problems. Spell weavers run when they see me. lol

I also came to this same choice the other day. I don't do that much PvP, but in seeing the huge influx of TKA's i decided to drop most of TKA but I kept the meditation line of TKA andMaster Swordsman. I have a pretty good Scythe Sword 2.6 spd 386 max damage and a pretty fast hammer 4.1 spd. With these two weapons I enjoy going to the Geo Caves and killing Nightsisters, all but the Elders. With my scythe I can take on the protectors, yeah +50k ham, 1on1 with very little trouble. My friend who is TKM had some problems with the Spell Weavers 1on1. What the swordsman is lacking in a KD move they make up with raw power(head hit 3)and medium armor piercing. But keeping the powerboost, forceofwill, and wound healing ability is nice for the swordsman too.

For pvp, tka is definitely better, but for pve, swordsman are the undisputed kings of big game hunting.

swordsmen is 100000000x better in PvE and sometimes even better in pvp, since everyone and their neighbor has 80% kinetic comp these days but nobody has a comp helm with a blast layer and anyone who even dares to think that tka is better than swordsmen in pve ought to be smacked just for the thought of it. plus swordsmen can solo giant krayts and NS elders easily, so you can either suck ass in pvp doing 100 points of damage per attack in pvp and spend an hour or so killing a krayt with tkm or go swordsmen and do about 400-600 damage per attack in pvp and spend a mear 10-20 minutes killing a krayt i think the choice is obvious

Swordsman.

More weapons, more damage types and a whole (and I mean redicules) lot more damage output.

Doh, I mean TKA /wink
