I've seen and heard that tka's are good for PvP but are they good for PvE i want a profession that will be good for PvE i was thinking of
Master Teras Kasi Artist
Master Swordsman
Fencer 4-0-0-0
Pikeman 0-4-0-0
Novice Medic

if ur master swords/master tk ur not gonna have a problem at all lol, trust me

In all honesty, you'll probably end up using Swordsman's skills moreso than TKA. Howevever, TKA has some good defense stuff, and a nice dizzy/KD that will occassionaly come in handy against NPCs. Plus, theres meditation.

The only combat skill I have is TKA and I end up being the "tank" for the group. Initmidate and Taunt help a ton in a group situation,

When you finally get to TK Novice, you'll thank yourself for the horrific grind that is the unarmed tree of Brawler. Once you fill up a couple trees of TKA, you'll wonder what the hell you were doing in any other combat profession if PvE is the goal. I can't comment on PvP because I haven't tried it, but I've heard TKA isn't that good. Oh, well. I'll take kicking the crap out of rancors and krayts any day.

Sorry man, not making fun of you just pointing out that's how you'll feel once you hit Novice TK and start working your way up the profession

Well when im buffed I can sit at a static spawn of mutuant bull rancors while afk.
I the only thing i have not been able to solo are ANCIENT krayts and nightsisters with 100% kinitic.

Difference between UA IV and Novice TK is substantial.
The above sentence is an understatement.

Gap between Unarmed 4 and Novice TKA is really really huge.
As for PvE, well, TKA is a PvE class.
Except for some mobs with 100%
if you look at our so wanted meditation skill, it is acctually usefull in PvE, in PvP, it is almost completely useless.

^Yeah that's about PvP in a nutshell. Your best bet I found was to burst run up to the nearest player and try to get him on knockdown and hope his buddies don't come to help. The problem is that everyone has 80% kinetic composite armor so you're going to have a heck of a time.
