I am just curious, why exactly do you want to kill Jedi? What did they ever do to you?
And hopefully the answer will be no. NO profession alone should be able to beat a Jedi. Did you see any other people even ALMOST beat a Jedi in the movies (other than Jango who used a spaceship's lasers and fought the Jedi without his lightsaber... and still had to run). But yes, I believe that TKM will be good in both PvE and PvP after the combat balance.

Yep, I read a few SW:EU books, I know that teras kasi's are suppose to be the only class of people in starwars who can stand up to a jedi using only their bare hands, and this is why I think TK should have insane dodge... I don't think that the TKMs "blocked" any lightsabers with their hands lol.
In response to the other comment, I do believe that we are playing some kind of "hero" in this game... I seem to remember some pre-launch backgrounds that said "Make your own hero/destiny" something of that means..
But still, if the Jedi aren't heros, and the TKMs aren't heros (one class shouldn't be more heroic than the other?) Then the gap should be the same as a Jedi hero and a TKM hero. A gap which I seriously hope would favor the jedi.
