Hello fellow TK's. I just started my way up the TK tree, and I gotta say ,I love it so far!(0-2-4-2). I wanted to know if these VK motors are quest items or just dropped loot from NPC's. To get Nym's motor, do I need to talk to anyone or just start dropping his guards and such? Any help is GREATLY appreciated, ie., waypoints, who to talk to, etc.

I've only found them on Nym's Elite guards and droideka.But I've heard that they have a chance to drop off any Nym's npc.

Jabba themepark has a mission reward of some typeof light motor but I don't think they're as good as what some weaponsmiths can make, may have other sidebenefitsof including them into VK.May have to reset that themepark and check them out to be certain=)

Great, thanks for the info. The droidekas, are you talking about the ones in the mountain? I think it's in the POI's?

Are called Nym's Droideka, not the type in the cave.

yea, i've been meaning to try and find some for a while now. Where do I find the elite guards and the droidekas?

You might want to consider Jabba's themepark. Two of my characters got 6 Lightweight Vibro Motors each: 25-30 dmg,spd -0.5. for completing one of the early missions.

Easiest way to find then is to grab missions from a terminal but you can find them as normal random spawns on Lok.

Can kill and loot the npc's, run about 250m out and back and they will respawn once or twice, best to kill the lair after the 3rd spawn =) More chances of getting the VK's then and less wandering around or traveling back to mission terminals.

I've hunted them extensively for days on end and got nothing but wound motors as well. I was doing large nym base missions.

I've been killing Nyms left and right and all I have found so far are +5 wound Motors. Please tell me there are some Damage Motors out there Like there are for ranged weapons...

Just a side note: Are the wound motors worth anything?

Heh I haven't found any motors, plenty of ranged powerups though.

They do exist, they're just rare.

join a solo group and take large nym base missions you'll loot some ... I got 4 last week, my mate looted 10 or so killing nyms for a few hours
