I would like to be an "all around" fighter and was wondering what template I should use...
I have TKM
I would like some sort of ranged profession...(I used to be a pistoleer and have some exp pts left over)
and am thinking... master brawler and swordsman
any suggestions?
I want to keep tkm
would it be a waste to have master swordsman and TKM?
Oh... I mostly PvE but want to be able to hold my own in PvP

Which would be good for PvE, PvP, The most fun?
I am more partial to the first one...

heres my 2 tkm setups, used for different things...
PVPer/vette solo
TKM
Master pike (mindfire+poisen/disease lance)
smuggler (feign death)
PVE/DWB/krayt killet/vette group
TKM
Commando flame 4
BH LLC 4
Both are very versatile setups, the 2nd one does huge amounts of damage and can switch to tank as needed, extremly effective for krayts/SBDs, PVP setup is a jedi killer/anti-temploiter

Well, a little more info in what you would like would help. I enjoy the combination of TKM and Swords because I get AP2 and another damage type. If I'm tanking for a large group I just stick with TKM.
Realistically TKM and any other Melee Prof is a good combo, and for the most part TKM and any Ranged prof is also a good combo (TKM just compliments most anything).
Personally I prefer TKM with Master Pistols, and from there it is just a decision on whether you want more combat skills or something different.

The TKM/Master Smuggler/Master Pistoleer template is called by many the "Tri-Master" template. It's very effective and lots of fun and I highly recommend it.

The left 3 trees are all good in fencer. The first one gives ranged and melee defense (lots of it), the second gives you knockdown and posture change defense, and the third gives you blind, dizzy, and intimidate defense. The fourth tree sucks, it gives no defenses other than a little bit of combat equilibrium.

So.. if I was master Pistoleer... what fencer tree/trees would help me the most?

Third row if you want more dodge and dizzy/blind defense, first if you want more ranged defense. Second row has good KD defense, but you could probaby get away without having that if you used the anti KD foods. Only problem is that without the Footwork line it will take you longer to get the other boxes.
So... get all three if you can, if not I'd probably go with the Technique (third) line.

Depends on playing mostly grouped or solo...if u wanne do high end mobs solo go for a pure melee template...if u play most of the times grouped may go for master tka/rifle/medic 2040/scout 1000 and novice entertainer...its a good supporting template...a friend of mine build this template with one of his chars...its great fun to team up and go to dath for killing nightsisters with him....we toke down an elder with +375k mind under 5min.

What about the fencer trees? And what is the "best" fencer tree to get?
