ok..so i still don't want to be a jedi. however, is it possible to be a force sensitive tkm? with say..some force powers or defenses like jedi have?
i remember a long time ago i saw on this board, a thread where someone ahd posted the template they called the ultimate jedi killing template, which was like tkm and a bunch of jedi skills. is that mixing of skills still possible?
i still dont want to be a jedi. i want to be a tkm forever and always. policing the acitivties of the jedi, so on and so forth. im really uneducated on the whole jedi business tho, so any answers about this will be welcomed and appreciated
thanks!

Yes. If you take the time to become Force Sensitive you can keep TKM and go up any of the FS Trees (and into Jedi) provided you have adequate skillpoints to spend.
I'll find a post that had a lot of suggestions and post a link here.

With my TKA character Iam thinking about making her:
0044 combat prowess(melee accuracy/speed)
enhanced reflexes master(melee/ranged defense, vehicle control, suvival)
Then training up some lightsaber for leveling purposes and making her
Master defender, 0040 enhancer, 1000 healer
Then dropping the lightsaber and remastering TKM
That will give me TKM skills
master defender bonuses
force armor
force resists states, bleeding, disease
force shield(anti-nightsister)
And basic force healing allowing me to self heal my mind.
Since I won't need my force powers for attack purposes, my force can be used to maintain my defenses and occassionally heal me.
It would make the ultimate TKM

i will be doing something like this with my jedi, i am currnetly TKM saber 4002 enhance 2202 and 1000 heal and novice defense. i will be reworking my skills around, but as a casual player (less than 5 hours per week) if i continue i will be a knight in January maybe. i am not a huge pvper although i have multiple chars that are pvpers for base defense and raids. i would rather use my jedi to pve and actually explore the swg world then run around killing all day long. i have played since day one and did all 32 profs to get my slot. to me a full knight is just not what i want. i would rather have a hybrid jedi. if the penalty to death is not reduced i have a feeling we will see alot of these types of profs in the future.

personally...
i will probably go:
TKM
Master Defender
Saber 0404
Healer 1000
combat prowess 0044
enhanced reflexes 4444
2 pts left to spare. this gives me ability to heal my self. tkm to defend against any bounty hunters and fight with if need be. great ranged and melee defense. all the master defender force skill/abilites
and a lightsaber to roleplay with...
i will probably never goknight as i don't want to give up TKM....if i like jedi, i might go farther but right now this is whati foresee for myself.

Right now I'm Master Teras Kasi and Master Brawler. I've also just gotten the FS melee bonuses in the village. Although I'm going for Jedi, TKM is the last thing I'll drop, and that will be dropped grudgingly.
Teras Kasi is just too awesome a profession.

I was thinking to go
TKM
Master Force Wielder (force pwers)
Force Healing 4-4-0-4
this would just be cool. I mean u could use all the force powers for awesome offence (and just cool animations) heal your battle fatuige, mind, health, and action, and still kick ass with tkm

OK this is all very well and good. Mixing tk with force.
how ever you can not use force powers, specials or def bonus's do not take effect while wearing armor of any sort.
So you have ot unequpi your armor to use force lighting and then use lighting then reeequip your armor same with force healing. Can't force heal with armro on.
Only viable way to use this teamplate is to never fight with armor.

I play a TKM/Doctor and just unlocked (and filled) the Melee Defence-Reflex tree and the Melee Speed-Combat. I believe it adds 20-defense and 12-speed to my toon.I haven't noticed a difference yet, but then again I haven't PvP'd since. I'll keep you updated if I notice a difference.

"how ever you can not use force powers, specials or def bonus's do not take effect while wearing armor of any sort."
You also can't do it while wielding a weapon other than a lightsaber. So if you want to fight unarmed, you either do it without a VK or you give up Force powers temporarily.

i am allmost a jedi knight and as it is going now we will see too many jedis around soon ... so this tkm with jedi stuff sounds so awesome and alot of fun .... i do agree that the master force wielder sounds like the most fun but i hav another proposal for u guys .... what about u did:
- master healer
- TKM
- and some forcerun
now i know that then u will only be able to relie on ur TKM defences but take it from a master healer ... that skill is just freaking awesome
