Ok, time to lighten up the mood around here once again
This one is easy and fun.... Just name your favorite martial arts movie (s) and why
Enter the Dragon - the most successful Hong Kong movie that was premiered at the time, and the movie that solidified Bruce Lee as the star he was.
Best of the Best - I like this because it's the only movie I know of that is centered around a legitimate tournament setting (although team full contact would never happen, lol) Most movies in the genre feature illegal, underground tourneys, this one was a Olympic style full contact tournament, with the Korean National Team no less....Although most of the American actors aren't martial artist, they do a decent job, plus the team is coached by the voice of Vader himself, James Earl Jones.
Drunken Master - The movie that propelled Jackie Chan into stardom in the East
The Last Dragon - Interesting concept, a urban kung-fu movie, who doesn't love Sho-nuff, one of the best villains ever, lol
The Matrix - while this is technically a sci-fi film, who would have thought that Science Fiction and kung - fu could be blended so beautifully?
Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon - one of the greatest of all time, great story, great action, and beautiful scenery..
ok, I've left a few out there for the rest of you to mention.... fire away...

Five Deadly Venoms - A true cult classic.
Shogun Assassin - First of the "Baby Cart Movies". Father and son assassins. The son is about 3 years old and even more deadly than the father. Between them they must kill at least 2 or 3 hundred ninjas. Great fun!
Storm Riders - "When Wind and Cloud for a storm Lord Conquorer will fall." Great wire work and colorful special effects.

Fist of Legend - Great fight sequences.
Iron Monkey - Great movie with Donny Yen as Wong Kei Ying (Wong Fei Hung's Dad for those who don't know)
7 Samurai - Not really a Kung Fu movie, but great nonetheless.
Hero - A great movie with a story from lies, half truths, and the truth is finally revealed.
I could prob think of more if i wasn't at work and could actually look at what i have at home. Good topic though.

Storm Riders - good choice for anyone really into "wire-fu" and special effects, this is the style of most Korean movies right now
Five Deadly venoms - the classic...
Fist of Legend - I love this one too, they rely on much more realistic fighting, as well as the theme of tension between the Chinese and Japanese during the occupation of WWII
Hero - Proves the saying "There's always three versions of a story, your version, my version, and the truth."
Iron Monkey - a good remake in the fashion of the old time kung fu movies...

If you simply want to see the best martial arts in a film, or at least the most spectacular (and probably the most amazing stunts), watch Drunken Master 2.
In particular the fight in the tea house where he uses a split bamboo pole to fend off dozens of people, and the final duel where he fights Ken Lo (Jackie's real life bodyguard) will blow your mind.
When he crawled backwards over hot coals, he actually did that (no special effects)... And he did it twice because they wanted another take.
