Has anyone else had this observation?

When I use Dizzy + Lunge I get a mob that falls back down from time to time..but I have yet to have a mob fall back down when using Dizzy + Knockdown.

What are your observations?

dB

Teras Kasi are lethal, nearly impossible to knock down or unbalance(Just kidding). Facing an opponent armed with ranged weapons, high-level abilities enable him to evade blaster fire and close quickly(Not really)...

Works 100% of the time for non-creatures for me.

Pyradius, thanks for you observation. Perhaps I am just using it against mobs with super balance. I was hunting "Dark Crystal Hunters" (or something like that) on Datooine yesterday and would land dizzy and after knocked down they never seemed to fall back down again, I will give it another shot today.

Anyone else with observations......

My point, with the changes to KD, dizzy becomes that much more important....

Every humanoid I have ever fought has NOT fallen down again when getting up from a "knocked-over" position (the upside down graphic).

They have only fallen over when:
-I use knockdown
-I dizzy them, lunge, and they attempt to stand up

Never seen them knocked over, then fall over again.

I've found that using dizzy and KD dont make them fall back down , but it makes them not attack for about 5 seconds.

Dizzy and lunge work best on human type creatures( tuskens are a good example) Dizzy and lunge really mess up tuskens..

I agree that dizzy and KD does not work. I know for a fact that it does not work on non-humanoids, and I don't believe it works on humanoids either. I'll test with dizzy lunge and see what the difference is, but it's pretty clear that something with dizzy + KD is messed up IMHO.

Heavy,

My observation also.....Dizzy + Lunge works, I have never had any mob fall back down using Dizzy + Knockdown.

As we move into the new "no KD spam" age it's important that dizzy + KD works...

As a matter of fact I just realized, if Dizzy + KD worked right you would not see so many folks doing KD,KD,KD, Zerk...KD,KD,KD

You would be able to Dizzy, KD,....and use other attacks..it would really add to the fun of playing the class.

DarkBrook, you hit the nail RIGHT on the head. If they're going to nerf us, they need to step up and make sure our other skills actually work as intended.

Sorry I misread the initial post. I use Knockdown 2 which also includes Dizzy. It has always knocked them back down about 20 seconds after KD2 is applied. Sounds like you're probably correct regarding KD1 + Unarmed Dizzy.
