Here's the BEST of what I've come up with for personally macro'ing weapon changes. It will cut down on your HAM costs GREATLY in battle, and makes for some better efficienty out in the field.

1. Drag your weapon in slot 1 of pane 6

New alias:

/alias onoff /ui action toolbarPane05 #; /ui action toolbarSlot00; /ui action toolbarPane00 #

--This selects pane 6, toggles your weapon on or off (depending on whether or not it's on already), and then puts you back to pane 1 (my default combat pane)

New macro:

OnOff:
/onoff

--Lets you use the alias through the toolbar

BerserkEquip:
/onoff; /berserk; /pause 2; /onoff

--Takes off your weapon, berserks, then pauses very quickly (you need this or the server won't recognize your weapon re-equip), then re-equips your weapon

Set this BerserkEquip where you usually put your Berserk in the menu, and make sure you have a macro for the /onoff alias just in case you get lagged and your weapon doesn't come back out you can just hit the OnOff toolbar button once.

Using the basic structure of the BerserkEquip macro, there's no reason why you can't use it for Warcry, Intimidate, etc.

**********************************************
Be aware sometimes the /pause command is bugged for local clients for a couple hours when in different areas making every delay instantaneous and therefore useless. Using this macro will ALWAYS take off your weapon, berserk, and then NOT re-equip your weapon because there's no delay. I don't know when this happens, but every now and then, you should check with a check alias like sitstand.

/alias sitstand /sit;/pause 2;/stand

Run this every half hour or so, just to make sure you're still getting the delay you're supposed to out of the /pause command. ENJOY!

nice macros but i honestly dont see the point of using them

knockdown time stacks when you use it over and over. don't tell me it doesn't, because I use it all the time. It does.

All you have to do is spam knockdown 1 about 10 times in the beginning of the fight, and then equip VK's. You will get about 50 hits in without getting touched. Then repeat if you have to.

No need for macros, and you can even fight naked lol

^ Yeah...and that's why its getting a nerf, so you can't do that anymore.

(No offense, you found a system that works. But its not intended to be done like that.)

Wow, a useful post that isn't a complaint about Knockdown getting nerfed. I'm stunned!

Thanks for the info Kermit. This is very helpful to those of us that haven't mastered the UI.

Actually, I don't even unequip my knucklers when using Knockdown anymore. The recovery time while keeping them equiped is MUCH quicker than if I were to use the unequip method.

Whether or not you're used to keeping them on or off all the time, this is a great way to save on HAM when pulling off buffs on you or the enemy.

I have found that most of the difference of equiping and unequiping costs me a couple hits. So 33 action hit or a 100+ action hit is what it really comes down too. I like pushing the buttons... Makes it seem like I am doing something more than just hitting one button. My own stupidity for forgetting to hit a button get me killed, is more exciting. *Smiles*

I'd like to point out that you don't need to unequip for berserk or intimidate. Neither of those are attack moves and the HAM costs are identical equipped or unequipped. This has been tested and confirmed by multiple individuals. I unequip for stun, and sometime KD, but otherwise they stay on for intimidate and berserk.
