I keep reading that KD + Dizzy doesnt work. I was wondering if this was in reference to KD2. I like KD2 and use it over KD1. I think the success rate is greater, damage is definately better, animation is better, And it say that the enemy is dizzy and shows the icon also ive had the creature fall down from the dizzy.

So I guess im wondering what ppl are using and why.....

Well, it's only anectdotal and I have yet to go out and officially test it, but I was beating on some caveman (humanoid on dantooine) last night just to see if I could beat him - he was yellow - and after being knocked down with knockdown2 and dizzied with same, I swear he stood up twice only to fall back over again each time.

It never seems to work on quadrupeds, but perhaps the graphic just doesn't show them stand up and fall down. Sometimes my knockdown2 seems to last a lot longer, so perhaps they are falling over as they stand up and I am just not seeing it.

Oh and I wasn't spamming KD2 so only the dizzy can explain why he fell over while trying to stand. That or I am dreaming again and imagined the whole thing, as I am sure someone will reply.

Next time you use KD2 on a quadraped, watch his HAM bar on the right side. It shows his posture (you probably knew this though), and watch to see if it is actually falling after it stands back up.

My KD1 uses 116 HAM, and KD2 uses 161 HAM with Knucklers on. I prefer KD1, and just beating them when their down.

As for fighting humanoids, my best tactic is using this macro. /unarmedlunge1;/unarmeddizzy1. Then if both are successful, I use berzerk because they will be down for the count. Keep in mind that even when Dizzy, your humanoid opponent CAN get up, just use another lunge1 on him to force him to change his posture again.

I have yet to be able to dizzy any creature in the game and have them fall.

Dizzy works on creatures but as not as well. I do believe that some creatures are more affected by dizzy/kd than others. Size seems to play a part in that determination. Snorbal calves, for example, will succumb to dizzy while knocked down, i.e. they fall down repeatedly, however, mature and elder snorbals do not. I believe, though, that while the dizzy is in effect, the knockdown is more effective. I find knockdown1 works more often when the creature is dizzy. I don't have knockdown2 yet so I can't comment on that.
