Thread: TKM in PvP
Just had a fight in Anchorhead and some in Bestine. TKMs are excellent in PvP. I don't even need to be a CH. I use that knockdown asI approach someone. I was actually losing when I was using my Graspling Spider Hunter. Then I got rid of the pets and started going after the shooters and knocking them down and finishing them off with Unarmed Hit 3.

Well, one kill doesn't prove that you are effective in PvP, but we do kill plenty. I suggest putting unarmed lunge 1 on your hotbar as well. It is on a seperate timer from the styles available to us that knock someone down.
I was effective in PvP even before reaching mastery, and I was never one to spam knockdown. I think my not relying on knockdown is why I can still say that TKA is perfectly viable, while the anti-knockdown-nerf crowd claims we cannot kill nunas.

TKMs are extremely viable in PvP, as long as you play to your strengths and try to minimize your weaknesses. Bounty hunters that catch me in the open with eyeshot rape me, but God help that bounty hunter if he's foolish enough to follow me into an enclosed space....
I swear by unarmed hit3 as well but I tried head hit last night and I think I'm going to stick with that for pvp. It does about 150 to 250 mind pool dmg at about the same rate as unarmed hit 3. Tough call though, but it works out very well if the person you are fighting has medics around him.
