I have been told this by a few people, but I notice no difference with the lower level stuff I fight, does it need to be a higher level creature, or is this all a myth?

I don't notice a difference at all. I am currently working on unarmed 4 and get the same xp for whatever I fight. I use the knucklers b/c of the big speed advantage.

Doggy, have you tried using a fishing pole? i am not completely sure because i'm too lazy to turn on timestamping, but the speed seems comparable to good VKs and damage is the same (some say better) than totally unarmed. the range is the same as unarmed. and the look is just special.

on topic, i don't think there is a difference in xp for not using knucklers. or for using a fishing pole.

I haveent noticed a difference. I only unarmed four working on tka and in tatooine i hunt wompratsa and get 373 xp either way (with or w/out vb). The difference is tha twith vb im much faster and combined with some specials and berserk I do great damage. W/out the VB i dont survive half the time.

I've tried using my fishing poll (91 quality) but there is not difference in damage or speed. Its as if you don't have it in your hands.

I am kicking arse with my fishing pole. I have a +15 Snag Earlobe With Lure skill enhancement in my vest, though.

Just from what I have noticed when hunting giant womp rats, I do get a little more xp when using my VK's then when I am not wearing them. I do have one pet that hunts with me. I do believe that the more damage you do, they more xp you get.

I have also noticed that with my VK's on, if a target is over 5 meters away, it is out of range. Now this is just what I have noticed for me. May not hold true for others.

If you are grouped with your pet, you get bonus XP I believe. I hunt solo, and see no difference.

Fiction.

If you are killing alone, you will get the same xp.

If you are killing in a group, you will get more xp, since you will be doing more damage in the same amount of time (but at higher HAM cost for specials).

But as a general statement with no explanation, they are simply lying to you in order to get more xp for themselves.

Meant to say that in a group you will get more xp with knuckles on because they increase your damage output.
