Hi all, i'm new to TKA, still learning the ropes and such, but decided to take it to compliment my Smuggler profession.
My question is: Dizzy attack. If i hit someone for a dizzy, then switch out to ranged combat, using my Smuggler's Low Blow to knock them down, will they be able to get up again while dizzied?
By rights i'm assuming no, since if it acts like the dizzy attack creatures use then any stance change makes you fall to the floor and cause that ever tempting line:
"Help, i've fallen and can't get up"
Any info on this would be great stuff and i'd love to hear from you.
Thanks.

Dizzy is dizzy. It is a player state, inflicted by an attack style, but independent of it.

there is a bug with dizzy right now. that bug is caused by the 30 second timers making our last knock down to a degree worthless. TKs get at master balance knock down +dizzy, but if dizzy fails to land, then the target can't be dizzyed using the same KD+dizzy style. so loading the old dizzy would be worthwhile.
dizzy is simply a dot, and how it is suposed to work is knock down your target every few seconds, right now its buged because if you use dizzy then apply a poster change, or a knock down, the target fails to get back up. That is not intended. The intent of dizzy is simply to be a knock down Dot.
it how ever works in pve on NPCs, and it only effects NPCs and Players, no monsters.

Knock down DOT? Where is this written, as I've never seen anything suggesting dizzy is supposed to work this way.

How, pray tell, is dizzy a DoT at all? It causes no damage besides what you inflict when you hit them with it. And secondly, i don't think dizzy was *ever* meant to make them fall, otherwise there would just be a Dizzy" and no KD. Makes KD2 (which includes dizzy, i believe) seem kind of redundant, no?
