finaly got to novice TKA today trained up to 0003 TKA cause i had crap loads of combat xp from pistol and i have been a master pistoleer for about 6 months now and stuck with it hoping for a patch to fix at least one of our specials
But now at 0003 TKA I could easly kick my own A** in PVP at master pistol so in short bye bye pistoleer lol time to join a real proffesion

keep it.
its the perfect combination to fight ranged and melee oppenents.
If s.o. kites you, lowblow, go melee
If s.o. melees, lowblow, kite him
in larger battles you have can use panicshot to delay the enemy group and give your group the initiative. good way to buy a few seconds to snipe a CM or give your melee fighters time to close in.
other handy skills you got are fanshot and all the wonderful defensive mods from pistoleer. (dodge, ranged mitigation etc.)

dude, keep your master pistoleer. i'm TKM, master pistoleer, rogue and there's even skill points left over to dabble in rifleman, fencer, medic or scout.... don't drop it!! wouldn't you just miss your fanshot?? and also, all the mods that master pistoleer gives help tremendously with lowblow, which is great to use when running after a kiter, just lowblow, have them on follow, bring out the VK's, stick a dizzy on them and finish the job hehe evil but i love it.

was the idea anything other than what i said? cause if so, i want in hehe
if not, yeah rogue is awesome to keep, i love it. and, when they do decide to put actual content into the smuggler prof, i'll probably master it. all i'll have to do is drop my medic stuff (currently 2/0/4/0 to use StimD's and first aid, although in PvP bleeds don't do much cause everyone's buffed so i'll prolly get 0/2/4/0 for drag incapacitated player)
