Thread: About TKA getting STUN knucklers

PLEASE stop asking for them! TKA is powerful enough without them. If you play your cards right you can run into a group of 5 guys and last long enough to take 3 of them out. This including the instance of a CM. Many may not use them but just use ALL of the unarmed skills you get! An enemy who is stunned, blinded, dizzy, and bleeding (I ocassionally do bleed people using UH3) will not stand a chance! The new razor knucklers is a godsend! Heat is RARELY layered into SP in comp. I've seen people with comp stun layered and kinetic layered just because thats the only threats in PvP. Just remember to use all your skills and of course center of being and you can take down anyone! INCLUDING master fencers because get those state effects on them and their dodges will be lowered by a ton, just make sure if they get you kd'ed have a "stand" button and press it once every 2 seconds til you stand up and you'll do fine. Posture changes work every 15-20 secs because of some stealth nerf or something like that.

I'd rather have stun gloves rather than a new knuckler. We're an unarmed profession for crying out loud...and has to rely on a weapon *in pvp* to do any damage. If the pvper is good, you will rarely get states to stick. Having different damage types would be nice *as well as having more swords for fencers* That is my opinion and you are entitled to your own.

Well, currently stun would make us the most overpowered prof there is... if were gonna get stun anything make the max damage 1... that way we'll go the normal damage with VK which would still b alot so stun is out the question unless our normal attack without VKs gets sliced in 1/2 only then will i ask 4 stun

Seriously, I am currently 2-4-4-2 TKA and I am amazed at what i an own... And i mean if they want stun Gloves, why not next give us Acid Cored VKs, or Electro Knucklers, o wait i know how about we throw in a mind posion DOT and call it the "O GOD NERF ME NOW Knuckler" Face it we can own jsut about anything in PVE, and with some proper planing for PVP we can own, personally i am also a pistoleer/commando... so i have access to kentic and Heat (soon enough) for TKA, energy, Heat, Stun (Tangle and Geo), and Acid from Pistoleer. And tehn Blast Dmg from the Launcher pistol. So just plan to mix up your skills.


But if you must cry for Stun Gloves try this idea out


make them basically like a last resort weapon.... mediocore dmg, High Ham, forcing them to only use normal attacks.... like 2.5 speed 20-50 dmg (screw range ideas) then 100-100-150 HAM so taht way we have to think Twice about spaming unarmed hit 3... or even make it so we cant use specials.... sorta like riding on a mount... IMO we dont need these weapons, we have are own benifits, Meditate, PowerBoost, FOW, Hell we really just need a musican just to heal our BF we can take care of anything eles. Plus unless i am facing a Fencer, i can hitintim, KD2, stun attack then spam Unarmed 2.. then Poof watch anyones HAM fall down i dont even wanna know what happens when im TKM.. Well go ahead guys Call me a traitor for speaking out against being a TKA with stun weapons but hey, this game is inbalanced enough as it is, lets not screw it over more so...

Stun.. is hardly helpful in any case, anymore. All of the latest generations of composite armor are Kinetic/Stun based for resistance. I'm a Master Fencer/Teras Kasi Master, and I'll tell you now that I'd rather be in a fight with that Head Hit against someone in that kind of composite than with any of my Fencer weapons or abilities, including the dodge. TK is powerful as it is, and we're getting a heat weapon.. How cool is that? We don't need anything else. That thing looks pretty damn neat, too.. When we're in fights in the future, if our Kinetic isn't pulling it off, we'll just have to switch to heat! They're so far apart on the damage spectrum.. I think it's cool.

Fencers shouldnt even be whining, we only have 1 wep, and they got more, uncluding the stun baton, WHAT ELSE DO FENCERS WANT?

Yeah they have a stun baton, yeah we have one weapon.. but point blank, we are TKA (UNARMED COMBAT!!!) i rarely use a knuckler anymore because it raises HAM, i fight unarmed most the time...

But according to your theory just because a profession has a stun weapon they are ok.. so pistoleer is set, fencer is set, and so is Rifleman.. Up untill a few months ago these professions were massivly underpowered, pistoleer is only successful because of the wide varity of professions you can mix it with, fencers have alot they could improve on. TKA's are awesome right now, i mean we can solo just about anything we want but if something has 100% kenetic resist, we can always just use another of our professions.... if we want different dmg types, then we use a differnt type of combat. Keep TKA's how they are supposed to be, Unarmed

Yes,.... thats an idea... i mean, at TKM, unarmed speed and Dmg are already built in, so why not just make it that way...... i think we would have to drop what the DMG would be but thats an idea
