Scroll down and read the post Garvin the Comando Corr gives about the Razor Knucklers. He does not name them directly but that is what he is refering to. "Delayed until the combat balance".

Hey Guys...nice to see my posts don't go un-noticed...lol

I can honestly say that the last I heard the Razor VKs were just delayed until the Combat Balance...this doesn't mean things haven't change, but I'd have to say I'd be surpised I didn't hear anything...If you are looking for a reason for the delay it because someone on TC found a way they could become mega powerful...the new speed/damage formulas coming out via the CB are suppose to account for this, but the current formulas prior to the CB would make these bad boys more trouble then beneficial...

I'm not only a Master Commando...I'm also a TKM at heart and that's why I'm keeping a close eye on this...Your new Correspondent is also doing a fantastic job as well...He is really pressing the Devs for details and timelines...you'd be proud if you could see what I can see...

So like I said, unless I missed something, the person on Lowca either is pulling someone's chain OR they may have gotten really lucky and something slipped through the programmer's cracks...As far as I know they shouldn't be dropping yet...I'm sure if there is any more news coming out your Correspondent will be right on it...or I'll be happy to help out where needed...

It should have been powerful when a required component was a looted NS Vibro Unit that is only dropped from an NPC that spawns once per server reset!

a weapon with 250 max damage and a smaller damage range default, pre-sliced. Now get a good damage slice and apply a power up and you are now placing a weapon than can do around or over 450 ap1 heat damage in a tka's hand.

Now, add in the fact that for TKAs, unlike other professions, our weapons currently do not replace our default damage, they simply add on top of our default damage. This means with a well made RK with a power up added on to it, you are giving a TKM around or approaching 600 default AP 1 heat damage.

Now, I know, and I agree with many of you, that such a weapon would be useful in compensating for the fact that against a well armored opponent in PvP we can do *very* little damage.

But, beyond that one situation, you can't honestly tell me how a weapon with that much power, even if it is that difficult to obtain, would be seriously unbalancing to this game, especially in PvE. Never mind bugs/issues with the Unarmed Combos that could be used to even more devestating effect with this weapon in PvP.

If, as all indications are pointing, this weapon is being delayed until the combat balance in publish 10, there is definitely a valid reason why it would be.

Depending on the NS Motor used, the damage can be considerably higher...like I said, some tests on TC showed that they were a bit "unbalanced"...the avg set turned out fine...the un-avg set turned out anything BUT fine...that was the problem from what I know...the possibility of crafting the "un-avg" set....that's the reason I think it was delayed...

What is an example of the "un-avg" stats? Like StGabe's example he made? 99-251 or so? Or higher?
