TKA Striking 2 says - Defensive Acuity +11... WHAT? why are all the other +15 that's got to be wrong.

Question, since denfensive acuity is a boost to dodge, counterstrike etc does it stack with other class like bonuses?

For exmaple, Pistoleer/TKA = Dodge +105 Pistoleer, does TKA defensive acuity add to that?

I would love to hear the answer to this as well being a master pistoleer/novice tka considering adding the tka striking line.

from what i understand it does not stack but is rather an alternative to dodge, counterattack, and block specifically... Pistoleers dodge... Carbineers counterattack... and TKAs do them randomly

I thought the NGE couldn't be any worse than the CU, but I was wrong.

Anyway, TKA doesn't use dodge at all. Each combat prof has a certain thing it uses to avoid attacks, and with TKA it's Defensive acuity vs dodge/counterattack/block. TKA is the only profession that uses defensive acuity. What it does it give you a random chance at all three, dodge, counterattack, or block.Currently though, it doesn't work as well as the others, and you will very rarely notice anything out of it.

People do say that if you use center of balance and check the combat logs, you will see it do something. Whether it does or not, it's still not up to par with the other professions.

Defensive acuity is there for totally different from dodge, and does not stack with it whatsoever. You will use defensive acuity when unarmed or with a VK, and dodge with a pistol or fencer weapon. Does that help?
