I have decided to make a new character ( master tka, master ranger), but I cannot decide on the species of the character.
Trandoshans get very nice bonuses to unarmed and even to the hunting skills of ranger. They just have such a weak mind and action that I cannot decide if those extra attributes are worth the price.
On the other hand, I was thinking Mon Calamari because they have such a high mind that would help alot with that meditation buff (cant remember the name). They have no bonuses to unarmed or hunting though. I would appreciate your opinions and thanks alot for your help

Mon Calamari get a max Mind pool of 1300 which means you can get a Powerboost bonus of 650 to your pools (as opposed to 500 or 550 from most species). Mon Cal would be a decent species if you plan on getting doc buffs constantly. If you do, then you can set your stats like this at character creation:
Health 650
Strength 300
Endurance 300
Action 650
Quickness 300
Stamina 450
Mind 1300
Focus 800
Willpower 650
Your HAM with Powerboost would be 1300/1300/1950, pretty nice.
Get Doctor buffs of, say, 2500 and then drink some +400 brandy and your stats with Powerboost would be:
Health 3800
Strength 2800
Endurance 2800
Action 3800
Quickness 2800
Stamina 2950
Mind 2350
Focus 1200
Willpower 1050
A pretty easy way to get some really nice stats. More than anything though, a Mon Calamari TKM is so rare that the novelty value alone would be worth it.
Health 650
Strength 300
Endurance 300
Action 650
Quickness 300
Stamina 450
Mind 1300
Focus 800
Willpower 650
