that's exactly my template and it's fairly one of the best stacker combinations. capped ranged and melee defs, 80ish to capped resists vs states, intimidate 2, acklya baton possibility..
what's not to like? i'll tell ya. stay away from melee/doc templates with mind fire and poison weaps. i got killed by one just yesterday only because of the damage of the dots. he healed any state i put on him and with 90% res armor, PSG and intimidate he outdamaged me with his dots.
but he almost never hit me or did any real dmg with melee attacks.

i have to agree that melee/doc combinations can be tough. they tend to be pretty weak against KD, unless they eat food to counter (then their mind is weaker for it) its a toss up. in any case it will be a long battle if it is one v one.
you should be pretty well off. i thought about going that way for the extra state def and ranged mitigation. i like my current template but thinking of chaning it up.....be happy with it. it is semi FOTM...but it does work.
