Well, I know a lot of people forget that they have this command. Here's the deal... You're in Deathwatch bunker. You're with a group of 5 other people. You're the TKM and are supposed to be attracting the aggro's while the ranged guiys pound on them. Well you have 3 SBD's pounding on you when you notice the two Wraiths chasing your Commando... the Wraiths are out of range... what do you do?
/taunt....
Great little command. When you successfully taunt an enemy he will turn and come after you. This is useful when hunting Janta's/Rancor's/Pikets/Whatever... Usually when you're attacking mas targets the weakest almost dead one's start to run away. Well, after 20m they're out of range. Call them back to you with /taunt.
Get the nasty aggro's off your unbuffed buddy with /taunt.
I've recently been running a lot of the high end stuff like DWB and the vette, as a TKM/Doc I'm the tank/healer so I need to keep the nasties off my support team. This command has made it possible for me to do that. Just wanted to get this info out there.

I just reach for a pistol and flatten them when they try to run for it. That's just a perk of my template, though.
What I hate is when I'm trying to tank for somebody, and they don't let me taunt before they start shooting at it. Seems like it's 3 times harder to draw aggro once somebody grabs it before you can. If I'm not dizzy, I find it easier to Lunge first, then taunt. If you can get close enough that is.

Forgive a TKNoobie for saying this, but....OOOOOoooooo /taunt!
/foreheadslap I'm gonna have to use that rather than chase those darn bols up and down hills all day long. Yes, I have no scout skills.

I don't mind when creatures run away, I can run after them... what is really annoying is when they warp 150 meters away, though. That gets on my nervers, 'cos then I have to leave the nest to kill them or not get the XP from getting them down to a tiny ammount of health. And half the time when I leave the nest, some little bugger's blown it up by the time I get back to it...

Vegitaa, that is an excellent tip. There are so many novice brawler skills that end up being forgotten and taunt is extremely useful. Especially for a guy like me that gave up terrain negotiation for TK. Chasing a mob up a hill with no scout training is not fun.

I fell as enlightned as i did when i realized that intimidate kick total ass vs rifleman and any one else damaging you to much for comfort. I have intimidate 2 now and must say it lasts for like 3 min or so which is great

I have an old "taunting" trick I have used for a while and forgot to post it the other day. Some mobs don't taunt very easily or are really slow to run to you. Keep a looted CDEF or some other equally weak weapon handy and when a taunt fails, equip it and shoot once. It will cause very little damage but is just about guaranteed to draw aggro.

Bang on the nose mate - I recently went out with a group of n00bs from my guild to show them the ropes and get them so good xp fighting naffs, squills and the like. I must have hit that taunt button about 100 times in 2 hours.
Problem with new players is they alwayslose the head andstarting running when something comes for them so they can't get healed. I've found taunt invaluable.
