Thread: Some advice for a profession changing Human please.

My template was BH Pistols 4, Smuggler Pistols 4, TK meditate 4, Master Pistoleer 4441. Which worked very well.
Currently Im a Master Doctor, Master Pistoleer.
Im thinking of dropping Pistols and going TKM as i need a change. If and when i drop Doctor, what template would everyone recommend for TK.
I heard a mix of TK, swordsman, fencer, but im unsure of what mix. I dont have any friends playing anymore who can give me the advice.
While Im still MD, Ill just go TKM

Fencer is good for defenses, but not that neccessary in PvE, although it helps, as some high level PvE might KD/Dizzy you, stun you, and all that fun stuff. Master Swordsman is good... high damage with 2 damage types. TK has good offense and defense, with some good specials.

Ok if i have MS, MF and TKM, i have 4 pts left to use on my FS boxes. Thats not going to last long.
Also i dont have enough for medic
So Which skills should i surrender first out of Swordsman, fencer or TK?

For PvE, drop fencer for sure. The defenses vs. states are ok, but not too neccessary.

I have an Alt going for TKM / Master Smuggler - I hope that TH's post on smuggler revamp holds true by dropping pistols requirement and going with unarmed for smuggler.
Then I will have enough skill points for more defense / scout and/or FS skills.
PVP is going to change with combat, buff and armor revamps - and since AP points are such a premium I am building a templete for the future.

I would say drop some swordsman cause tkm is a better PvE so you would use the VK most of the time and fencer has great defenses and the awsome stun baton for PvP... Swordsman hasnt got any defense at all.. So surrender some of thoose skills first.

Sorry I disagree - Swordsman is better for strickly PVE. TKM is better for PVE & PVP with the right combo.

Whoa! That is completely wrong. Ever been to the geo caves witha Swordsman. I am 100% sure you haven't. Swordsman has no defenses, but paired with Fencer or TK, it is the best. And on the matter of PvP, if you are speed capped, you can use Power Hammer well. You can KD your opponent with area attack 3 (to try to land a dizzy) and lunge. But you will get killed if you don't have fencer or TK.

Im human and my template right now is
Teras Kasi Master
Master Brawler
Fencer 4 4 4 0
Swordsman 3 0 4 3
Novice Medic
I do well in PvP and PvE .. In the vette I tanked and took nearly no damage with 80% comp and fencer COB or synsteak/unarm toughness and CoB
PvP is good because of lunge 2 for three different weapons, intimidate 2 destroys any melee fighter and 20 second warcry helps for escapes or time to get the extra heal off.
