Thread: Mind goes quickly ...whats wrong?

By the way we were both in full composite....my encum was a bit high...around 450 on mind...buffed mind stat on brandy is around 1800. i also had about 50% total stun protection via bio clothes and armor.
Ok there are many factors that can be the reason for this.
1/ what is your mind stats with out armor and food. depending on whetheryou fight with armor or with out will depend on what stats you have migrated to mind. I have a full stat migration to mind. Mine is 1100 /1000/900 (since I do alot of pvp no buffs and armor this work better for me)
2/ Were you intimidated at the time of head hitting him? - If so your damage is greatly reduced
3/ Were you stunned while he was head hitting you? - If so then your def is dropped as well.
If you have any more information to states you had on you and him at the time if any would be a help but I am guessing it is probably a combination of all these.

seems as though all the replies may have confused you a bit.
Stun protection on armor protects you from the Stun Damage Type...not to be confused with the Stun State.
Stun Damage is one of the many types of damage players can chose from for inflicting damage on opponents. Heat is another damage type, Kenetic (the ONLY kind of damage TK can inflict) is another damage type. there is energy, and electrical, cold and acid...many types of damage. Stun is popular with Riflemen (mind pool attacks via the Jawa Ion Rifle) because Stun is generally the most effective damage type against armor. as i understand it, whenever the combat rebalace happens, this will no longer be the case
States - blind, intimidated, dizzy, Stun, posture change...are not damage types in and of themselves, but a way to make inflicting the different types of damage easier. as you know you cause more damage to an opponent that has been knocked down than one who is standing. if that opponent is dizzy there is a chance they will keep falling down, allowing you to continue to inflict more Kenetic damage to them with your TKA strikes.
as mentioned above intimidate reduces the damage output of your opponent, and stun reduces defenses. blind makes it harder for your opponent to hit you and warcry prevents any attacks from your opponent AT ALL for a full 10 seconds as long as you do not attack them during that time. you can use this time to heal yourself or eat some much needed food, or consume a drink.
