Thread: TK veterans: who is making your VKs?

Hi everyone, I recently revived my account after a few months break and I am now looking to get a new VK. For this I need the help of the most veteran TKs out there in the KAURI galaxy:
I need to know in your opinion who is making the best VKs right now, who do u get ur weapons from?

Well, I normally get mine off of a weaponsmith. But sometimes I send a tell to my local Driod Engineer, and he makes me one. Oh! You can also contact an armorsmith to make your VK.

These stats vary per server, but a decent one is around 147 max damage, forget the min.
A rather good unehanced though would be 154+ unsliced and unehanced.

The cap on VK's is really easy to hit for a master weaponsmith. You would bepretty safe going toeven an unknown weaponsmith unless they totally suck. Normal unsliced VK's cap at 147.

I bought a sliced one on Gorath with max of 181. Ebada's melee vendor in Ruby Lake mall on Naboo is my dealer.

i actually prefer low specials cost over max damage personally and since speed doesn't matter for tkm (i think we cap at power4)the 3.2 speed doesn't slow me down. the difference is 2k damage compared to 1.8k but my mind pool stays full without using canape or getting a mind buff (duel 420+ 42minbrandy of course though). may take be slightly longer to kill something but i'm much better off in a prolonged fight.
my alt is a master weaponsmith so i make my own.

the cap for max dmg on a vk is 147 UNENHANCED UNSLICED usually an unenhanced one goes up to 165-190 MAX dmg and an Enhanced one can go up to 250 dmg SLICED

when they had that obaniv steel spawn a couple of months ago (1000sr) they were making vk's stock with 165 max damage at 2.2 speed....now you get a nymmotor on it or ns motor...good one...say +23 or higher you can get it at 187 max damage and depending on what slice you get speed or damage...will depend on the smuggler..but mine are very nice vk's....i have a friend thats 193 max and 1.7 speed (don't ask me how...it is) ...then add a good powerup to it...(if your willing to do that) you can get up to 250 maybe 1.7...that would be very nice...Ceasar :::::sunrunner:::::::

Actually craft day VKs were made by the hundreds on my server so you can get like 154-156 max VKs for about 8-15k

On Kettemoor server, Braxas sells max 146 Vks (unsliced) for 4k/each. He offers crates of Vks for 100k.
He has a vendor in the Outcasts Trading Post (On Naboo, 2km from Theed -5567 6569.)

Stop by Ater Imperium on Dantooine. Trech makes some fine VKs. I have mine custom made with nym motors for the extra edge. And welcome back

there's quite a few on our server...
I personally go to xyrek, sushi, or epidimick
or you can go with Trech in AI on dantooine, or any of a number of great weaponsmiths... the good ones will usually post things on the trade forums, you can try looking there also.
