I thought this arm added unarmed damage...
But the second quest reward from the cybernetic doctor is an cybernetic arm that boost +5 in melee accuracy...

Am I missing something? - did I do the right quest?

Look at the special the arm gives you.

In the end it's just junk. The buff lasts like 4 seconds and my experience was that having the arm equipped made me lose all my unarmed skillmods.
