As TKM, how can I protect myself from attack? I've been working in the village fighting Sith Outlaws/Pirates, but they hit me for 600-800 and incap me after 3-4 successful hits. I am not certed for the armor that I spent a lot of credits on (pre-CU). What can I do? I am working toward carbineer now (I'm novice only so far). Is there armor I can wear as TKM? Any other special protections (besides 10% buffs from docs) that I can use?
Give me wisdom!

The damage you are taking is probably from the difference in levels between you and the Sith.

If you're at master you should have enough innate armor and COB to last a few hits. You can't wear armor but you can sport BE clothes and you can plan your attack. Unfortunatly, the higher the skills and levels, the more health and passive mods so you might just have to bring a group.

Keep COB up as much as possible but...
If they con red or purple to you, you can forget it, COB or no COB. One you might be able to take. More than one, no way... and if the purple is "deep" enough (far enough above you) nothing will save you, not even the power of the Dark Side.
Check their levels. If you're 55 and they're 80, you have no chance vs. them.

you only have two options in this game...
1. double master to get to cl80
2. not waste any pts in combat cause you will suck

You don't suck below 80... you just can't fight level 80 things if you are below 80 (well, unless you group up).
If the sith are automatically going to be in the 70s and 80s, then yes, to get Force powers you will have to double-combat master. But for just general game-play, level 50-60 is fine... 80% of the wild creatures are in that level range, and standard missions scale to your level.
