well how do you do it? does taunt work well cause dominate mind does not. the only way i found to hold aggros is to outdamage the riflemen of your group or whoever you have, which isnt possible for me to do at all.

Best solution i have seen is to do an area heal. The current aggro system really hates CM's. Taunt is kinda worthless since it has such a long timer and does not hold.

I use a combination of garden-variety Taunt, Area Taunt, and Bactaspray. Healing myself and anybody on my side within range still sounds like a peculiar way to taunt, but hey, whatever works... Something you can also try, don't know how this works (have to try this with Dal soon), if your teammates focus on *you*, not on the enemy you're fighting, have you selected basically, they hit whoever you're fighting (an assist, this is called). I haven't tried this in SWG, but back in my late unlamented days in City of Heroes, this helped focus aggro on the tank (me, both games) instead of pulling it away. Even a 'Blaster' in CoH, prime aggro-stealers since they do the most damage (kinda like Riflemen in this game, same principle just with firebolts and such in that game instead of firearms...aside from the Blaster type that uses firearms, of course) couldn't pull aggro using this method. Just the way us tanks want it! I'm gonna have to test out the Assist method soon, maybe you should think of doing the same? Might do very well that way.

Us Rangers have Rescue, but I really havn't had a good opportunity to test it much. It also requires you target the group member you want to pull the agro form, then hit the special, which takes time. I will most likley be grouping with guildies this weekend so I will try it and let ya know.

I already happen to know that using my rifleman to assist the tank (targeting the tank and firing) will cause the aggro to switch to the rifleman. Nice thought though.
