Ok just had to use caps and 1337 for that one. But anyways down to business. What do you have to grind for as a TKA? Do you pretty much have no choice but to use a cybernetic limb, and so you gring for those? How many knucklers are there, and what are their level ranges? I am currently level 17 and I am wondering what my next tier of knuckers will be. How many are there? What is the best? Are they all pure kinetic? And how good exactly is the innate armor? Thanks in advance.

You have the Razor Knucklers at master, which, if I remember correctly, are kinetic (look pretty cool with three spikes).

Rage of the Wookiees introduced the Knuckles of Katarnn which look like claws. You should be able to find a thread about these main TKA page of the forums.

Does your fist damage add on to your knucklers? If not, how do I check my unarmeddamage? What skill level should I stop using my vibroknuckers?

Also, with cyber limbs and no armor for TKAs, is there any reason at all not to have a cybernetic limb?

As far as I know, unarmed damage no longer stacks with the weapon damage.

(We'd become damage dealers and stronger than every other profession )

I hear that MSM is the perfect complement for TKM. Does this mean they should use 2H swords? Does it mean they should wear armor, or is their innate armor better than medium armor(I'm looking at you Clone Trooper Armor).

ok, ive done most of the tkm options and forum troll for hrs a day at work. i can answer all of these things....

1. Do not use any weapon at all as a tk until you can use the blaster fist, which i think is at cl40. the other vks actually do less damage than using no weapon at all due to the unarmed damage bonus we get, which is taken away if you equip a weapon, even a vk.

2. Razor knuckler? yes, it looks very sweet but I have yet to see one in-game. If anyone knows where I can get this, please post.

3. The katarn knuckler is a quest item. Dont try this quest if you are under CL80. The final part of this quest is to kill a katarn which is a CL86 dragon looking thing that regenerates health faster than a jedi can damage him. It took me grouped with 2 full template jedi over 2 hrs to kill this guy.

4. Get tkm for the uber defences. It is well worth it and, imo, essential to any melee template. On the other hand, you will need a different prof to actually do damage with. I recommend either swords or pike. I am currently swords and will be trying pike this evening. yes, you will need a good pike or powerhammer to do the fighting with.

5. TKM/Doc is good and some say that respecing to swords/doc is better. tkm doc will take forever to kill things but you will be able to heal faster than things can damage you. if you have patience, this is a good choice as well. I am tkm/mswords/mbrawler and lost a duel to a mswords/mdoc. I barely lost but i did lose.

6. Initiate armor works no matter what weapon you equip, as long as you arent wearing armor. Add a cob macro that runs every 45 seconds and you are better than most armor in the game.

7. As far as cyber parts go, you dont need them and they look silly.

Hope this helps...

Correction: Katarn is lvl 87 and isn't that hard. Took me (Pike/TKM), a Master Pistoleer, and a Jedi Guardian to take it down in a matter of minutes.

I dueled a Rifleman/CM last night, I won twice, he won twice.. I used COB, Intimidate, Warcry, KD, spin attack, impale and he was incapped in a matter of seconds.

A tip for EVERYONE: Get Stim D's. They are useable by everyone now and will save your life. I have some 1300 power ones and they save my life during hard duels or PVE moments.
