Ive been working on unarmed and its been a complete Pain in the ass. Im at unarmed 2 and its hard enough getting 5k then i look at the 125k for TK novice ?

Could someone give me some pointers on what to fight from Unarmed 1-Novice TK ?

I am a medic so i can heal myself so as long as they are not hard hitters it shouldbt be a problem.

Thanks guys.

buy some VKs slice them for speed and kill moderatly easy things or get someone to power lvl you with somones pet.

but ah could just do that first part and go for things near mos take.

mos take is a good area, has some good missions lots of spawns, and pretty good exp over all.

The feral bantha spawns are great exp for that level and really easy, if you find them. also some lizzards out there and little epoie things too.

ppls attention span differs from ppls to ppls... anyway, i find it easier when i was grinding to get a really fast vk and use berserk. for soem reason my berserk did more dmg than my unarm1.

Yeah, some really fast VK's will do the job.

I just went to Coronet on Corellia, picked scavenger rat missions and did those until I was a novice TKA. Takes a while but it's easy enough.

Dont slice them for speed. Slice them for damage. Anything around 2.0 speed is already hitting the speed cap anyways, so going lower will do you no better. Get a high damage slice and call it good.

Oh, btw. You cant use vk's until you are a teras kasi novice. Unless they reversed that nerf with the patch. If they did, right on.

Uhm, yes you can use VKs before novice, will they give you extra damage? No. Will they make you hit faster? Yes, will you hit the speed cap before novice, no you won't.

Um, Faraed, that's the point--until you get to Teras Kasi Novice, the damage rating on the vibroknuckler doesn't actually help you, but even when you're uncertified, the speed bonus does apply. So when you use a VK while uncertified, you're looking for the fastest you can get (speed bonuses aren't yet good enough to come close to the cap.)

get some fast VKs

Walk around Tyrena twice avoiding all red dots and killing all yellow dots

Get into the unarmed 4 box

Go to any city on Tatooine

Repeat process around any city aside from AH and Bestine

Try your luck against greater desert womp rats but stick mostly to cupas and things around that level

Use intimidate alot and the other status stuff as needed/desired and keep those stims hotkeyed

Find Teras Kasi trainer....

make sure to collect the wooly hide to get exp and good money. if it's good OQ/SR.Mal find an armorsmith, otherwise find an arch into making furniture

As others have said, buy a nice pair of vibro knucklers and get 'em speed sliced. The base stats should be around 2.1 or 2.2 speed and with a good slice 1.5 to 1.6 speed. Your damage won't go up, but the light AP and extra speed will mean you kill a whole lot faster. If you can equip armor, then purchase some nice Ubese (at least 50%, but 70% if you can afford). Equip your VK's, hit berserk, equip armor and lay into the mob. Yellow con is no problem. With self-heals, you might find tougher but your XP rate over time would be lower due to longer fights. Wouldn't recommend using specials - ya won't need 'em for the mobs you'll be working over.

for all you beginers in ther unarmed tree. there is a way. but VKs like people say, but dont use special moves, walk up to you enemy, go berserk, and hit them . at unarmed 1 with a dmg slice on VKs you will hit for around 150-200 dmg. as long as your berserk. other than that, dmg stay the same. but the speed IS faster, way faster. now imagine that speed while berserk with that damage, and your all set.
