Thread: What should my skill tree look like before I attempt Force Sensitives?

Good day all. I have spent a few hours reading the board and it looks like I made a great decision going TKA on my combat character.(No, the holocron didnt tell me to do it .) I just finished Mastering Doctor and am slowly moving toward Novice TK. Found some great information on getting Noice TKA but I would like to look past that.

What should my skill tree look like before I attempt Force Sensitives as a Master Doc as well? I saw that taking on a single Darktrooper was 0/1/1/0 is it the same for these? My apoligies if I missed a post on this. I couldnt find it if it exists.

I like this combo because I solo play alot.

Thanks!

DE/TKA seems to be a good combo.

Force Sensitives, as in the bad boys with Medium Armor and high resists? I'm not a Master Doctor myself, but I wouldn't want to take these guys on withoutbeing aMaster, and maybe having a probot to draw some attention away from me. I'll just stick to darktroopers, seeing as I can take 3 of them down at once, with powerboost and a little friend call Knockdown 2

there are typically 2 types of FS NPCs..... ones that are AR 0 and 50% resist. As a TKM I can take them down without too much trouble. Then there are the AR 2 80% resist guys. I simply don't try to mess with them without some form of help.....buffs, grouping, pets, whatever I can get.

Honestly I am not sure that any melee can beat a force sensitive NPC with good odds without some sort of tank. Now if TKA defense mods worked....perhaps....but they dont. I have tried as a master and I cannot KD them...and with the medium armor and 80% resists across the board the only way I was ever able to kill them solo was to bleed them to death (smuggler\pistoleer skills). I have had better luck fighting dark troopers (if you are a rebel of course). I take on 2-3 dark troopers are a time with relative ease. Only gotten 1 holocron so far...but I have not spend a ton of time on it.

if you have a big bleed, like i think i could take the big ones now with my pikeman double bleeds i can get action bleeding for 2k per tick on them then i just need to survive long enought to deliver the last shot since dots dont' incap, but as a pure TKA i never had any luck against the medium armor types

Wow. This is difficult. I have 2 options.. tell y'all how to kill any NPC, or not.

What the hell.. might as well let y'all have some fun too.

There are3 things you need.. warcry, intimidation, and +warcry/intimidate clothing.

Non-agro NPC: walk up andstay OUT OF RANGE(#1 killer.. getting hit), intimidate till sticks, warcry till sticks. Now, get KD/lunge2 to stick. Then try to get dizzy to stick(TK use dizzy, fencer dizzy, swordsman use Domination, pike.. cry?). DO NOT SPAM KD. It defeats the purpose because a failed KD stands the NPC back up, no matter what. Nothing worse than seeing your double-damage bonus evaporate because your finger slipped. If you are master brawler, yourtask is a lot simpler. When warcry wears off, watch for 5 combat actions by your target, and warcry again. If you can get your target to stay down(dizzy while KD normally does this. If target is KD and dizzy doesn't stick, SPAM dizzy. Warcry gives you a little time to work), you can safely use specials or normal attacks.

Agro NPC: rock beetle, probot, anything with armor and decent kinetic resists. This is A MUST. Send in pet, and act like it's a non-agro NPC, except warcry first. If yourdistraction dies and you're still in combat, your life just got interesting.

By the way, anyone wanna know how to keep an animalfrom standing up for 10 or 20 seconds after a KD instead of 5? Warcry. Makes grauls a lot easier

i can solo the hardest FS(80% resist medium armor) npc's unbuffed and without bothering with intimidate/warcry.. i just spam unarmedhit3 all the way (obviously i use food/spice/powerboost though(

Hello Sintrosi,

Even with Master Doctor the FS NPC's are very hard to fight.
I think you can maybe beat them with power boost, warcry+KD and a good pair of VK.
Without 2/2/2/2 and a good buff I wouldnt try them
