I believe it never made it to live because it would have over powered TKM.

Size wise, it looks like you are holding the blade of a Pike in your hands. They are very nasty weapons, but none exist on Live servers. A few slipped to live when the patch first came out there, but they were all removed from game.

We have 4 in circulation on Eclipse, I have seen them equipped.

If you see anyone with them on live, please report it. They are not supposed to be there. Or better yet, if it is a friend who has one, ask them to turn it in. Since they are not supposed to exist and when they first slipped out to live the Devs and CSRs made it *very* clear that no one was supposed to have them and they were going to remove them, they might not be happy with the owner at all.

in other words, we had a damage type other then kenitic, and the devs didn't like it

Damn obvious what made it overpowered, the damage is so damn high. If they wanted it to be fair they should just make it the same damage as our current weapon just keep its heat damage, or if thats not enough make it slower so you cant hit the speed cap while using it just give us a new damage type so NS's do not 100% resist us.

move it to master like the DE-10 for pistoleer, drop the damage a bit, and we're good to go

The damage was the big thing, yes. Not the heat damage. And it is the damage that needs adjusting on it. The problem is the devs didn't think we'd get them as high damage as we did. Thats what test center is for
That RK I linked to up there, was just the first one made as well, some were a bit less damage wise, some as I hear it, even more. And keep in mind when you are looking at that RK. That is unsliced and unpower-uped too. So, an RK with a max damage exceeding 500 is most certainly not out of the question.
Now, imagine that compared to a top of the line, best possible made VK. But, yeppers, I wouldn't be surprised to see it return, with the exact changes mentioned above. Lower potential damage and a master cert. Or higher speed once the speed equation is changed to offset its higher damage.

one of the major problems with the dozens of RK's that we made on TC?:
they don't have a cert.
a novice MARKSMAN can use an RK and do full damage.
the stats and DT_heat are only PART of the problem.
if you can't see the rest of the balance issues... then nevermind.
I still have MY RK's... and all the runs on the DWB and Axkva Min aside, they don't belong ingame, so I put mine in a house, against the wall... nice to have, but not an improvement to the game.
