I am a TKA that just got Spinning attack 2 and I am wondering why everybody says its so good. Doing missions on Dant, I would be hard pressed to fight without comp armor (hard pressed but not impossible) , with comp armor my mind HAM drops like a rock with spinning attack 2. With out comp i have no time to do anything but auto attack and heal myself. I always have 2284 doc buffs (I'm a master doc) and 2 swigs of brandy. I have to be missing something. Is there another mind buff? Are my tactics wrong? help please

1. Migrate your secondary mind stats to at least 700 each. Personally, mine are at 800.

I find I don't even need any brandy or canape at all with a musician buff (for normal missions).

In addition to brandy you'll want to pick up some Ahrisa. This will buff your Focus to decrease your HAM costs even more. If you get some good Ahrisa you can pop 3 of them (+400) each and they'll last for 45 minutes. So you can pop them constantly. Other alternates (or additions) to Ahrisa are entertainer mind buffs, vagnerian canape (+700 focus and willpower for 10-11 minutes... 40 filling) and muon gold.

I'm a zabrakTKM, so with my focus maxed at 500, the specials kill my mind fast. With 2 ahrisa, it lets me use specials with little or no cost, thats with 2brandys, as doVK powerups with 33% reduction in mind cost and 15% min damage increase.

Spin2 was a lot better before they fixed the creature ranged attacks, still work great on huurton. Quenkers now sometimes back off out of range and spit green acid at you.

As my zabrak alt knows, the focus limit of 500, even with a full entertainer buff, leaves us wanting some extras...the brandy, canape and ashira (spelling) mentioned by the other folks do wonders. If you can't hook up with the musician buff, you will need to take 2 BE brandy and add either of the others as a supplement.

I had a bud who was weaponsmith craft me a crate of lower ham VKs for PvE. The reduced the HAM cost by about 25%, I also use the 33% Mind powerups mentioned above. I used 33%Mind16%Speed while leveling and use 33%Mind16%MaxDamage at master. Any artisan with 4400 and some mineral and chemical with OQ over 950 or so should be able to hit these, though the crafting process is a PITA, as the pup type is random. I get approximately 1/35 MINDMax melee, meaning I end up throwing away 34/35 attempts, then do factory runs of the 33%Mind 16%Max pups.

My toon is a Human and i migrated all my points to teh mind so its pretty much like this 400 400 400 400 400 400 1100 800 1100 works great for me since my composite is all Encum Sliced i only pop 1 brandy or 1 canape and tada i can spam all attacks!

2 brandy + 3 arisa (33 filling) = no mind drop.

assuming you don't buy the cheap crap.

Don't go cheap, I made 1 mil on janta missions the other day in an hour and 15 minutes, had time to go hunt some peko peko albatross with my buff still intact.

on my server, 1 crate of 18 use, 410 stat brandy, with 49 filling, is about 125000, and a crate of +380 arisa will run about the same with 33 filling, and stacked in 3's.

My god that would be over kill.

Once your focus is high nothing costs mind. With 2 brandy and 1 ahrisa you should be set. For me it takes about 1400 focus (after encumbrace off course) to reach that My-Mind-Aint-Moving-Happy-Place.

Zabrak here, maxed all my mind stats. I use two swigs of brandy and musician/dancer buffs when going going all out. Being a smuggler, I also always have Muon in my backpack just in case. Ever since I hit master though, I find myself using unarmed spin 2 less and less. Maybe the fun of unarmed hit 3 just hasn't worn off yet.
