What have i missed? Why do people want to cap out on unarmed xp after making master? I have, and was wondering whatsthe deal.

If your character's attunement to the Force improves enough you'll have an opportunity to gain access to the village of Aurillia on Dathomir. Once there you can take quests that will unlock skill branches that contain Force Sensitive skills (they simply provide bonuses to regular skills you already have, like ranged and melee defense and attack, healing, crafting, etc.). To advance in those skills you have to convert your regular experience to Force Sensitive experience.
Once you get 24 skill boxes of Force Sensitivity filled, you get the chance to go through trials to become a Jedi Initiate.
